Easier to apply than I expected!
After reading some of the reviews, I was leery of trying to apply this sticker but it went on easily and (so far) has remained on the glass. After applying the sticker to very clean glass, I really took my time with a credit card to level out the air gaps. Then I peeled off the backing very slowly, one letter at a time. Two letters started coming off with the backing but I just laid them down again and used the credit card on them. All good so far. Nice little flair for the back window.

instructions are probably why people complain... but they shouldn't
Sticker is fine, instructions are wrong. It says to peel back the clear sheet as if you were putting it on the inside of the window facing out. But you really peal back the paper sheet, smooth the clear sheet AND the decal (which is just a many-part sticker) onto the outside surface, and carefully peel the clear sheet back. Be sure to REALLY clean well and REALLY rub the clear sheet so the decal sticks well. Works great. Looks great. My daughter jumped up and down when she saw it on the back of our Sprinter! My only concern is whether it will hold up to weather and sun... time will tell.

A great design, hit and miss quality...
The decal itself is great. I'm sad to say the one I received had signs of possibly being old or the adhesive was too much. It was a bear getting the lettering to stick to my truck window and took a long time to get to stick without coming off. I lost the compass part altogether. It refused to detach from the paper backing and stick to the actual glass. And it started ripping as I painstakingly tried to carefully separate it from the paper backing. I had all the extra tool to apply it. Still couldn't salvage it. The wording is still on my truck but it's iffy how long it will hold up. There's signs of it possibly curling. But I've been able so far to smooth it back down. Again, I love the design. I think I just got shipped an old one or defective one. My coexist decal has been awesome and solid.

The transfer tape was stickier than the decal
The transfer tape stuck no problem, but kept yanking the decal with it. It was super sticky, but the decal itself wasn't very sticky. I grabbed a pair of tweezers and slowly pulled the decal off the transfer tape as I peeled it back. This presented issues with the wordd because I would on occasion fight to get the decal off the transfer tape and it would stretch letters, part of the compass, and ripped the decal (it was kind of brittle in some areas instead of stretchy). I don't think the decal is going to last long on my laptop, I don't think it was given much adhesive. It kept raising and peeling off the laptop, even with a blow dryer to warm up the adhesive to try and restock it. The decal itself is very very nice, I just couldn't get it to transfer.

Careful with the install
I've bought this sticker twice now and each time some letters were struggling to stay on the vehicle DURING installation, but after 3 years the first one never had any problems with peeling or missing pieces, and the second one seems like I will have the same success. Go slowly during the install, and if you are careful it will all stick to the window and come off the clear paper.

Painless transfer to window.
Just like in the picture. Transferred painlessly to my window. I was a little concerned. The product arrived as a three-layer package. The decal itself was sandwiched between a paper backing and a clear plastic backing. The instructions were to rub the decal with a credit card to be sure the vinyl was well adhered to the clear plastic, then peel of the paper, stick it on the window, then peel off the clear plastic. Then it said if the vinyl lifts, smooth it back down with a finger and try again. That was daunting but it all transferred well, and it looks good. I did it on a warm dry afternoon, and I had worked really hard to clean the window first.

I wouldn't buy it again.
I loved this decal when I saw it. When my first one came in the mail, I was disappointed to see that I was missing a letter. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement within a couple of days. That was awesome! I thoroughly cleaned the spot on my rear window where I was placing it, and tried to peel the backing off. Most of the letters wanted to stay on the backing, so I had to carefully scratch each one pack on the sticky side as I slowly peeled the backing off. I finally got it positioned and loved it. It was well worth the hassle! Unfortunately when I went out to my car this morning, less than 24 hours after applying it, the letters were sliding down and falling off. I know the glass was thoroughly dry and the cleaner I used does not have an oily residue. I carefully rubbed the whole thing on and slowly peeled the sticky paper back when I was applying the decal. My car is parked in an enclosed garage so the letters aren't sliding because they sat in the rain for a long period of time. The only thing I can think of is that I drove in the rain last night, but I only went a short distance. So the decals come off in the rain?? I have another decal with small details from another company and it has been on my car for a month with no problems. Same cleaner was used to clean before applying then too. Now I'm left disappointed. At least it was cheap!!

Application is miserable
Very difficult to apply. Came with a letter out of a place. Had to use fine tweezers. The decal pulled some of the base paper so the decal would not stick until it was removed with the tweezers. The decal did not want to release from the tack paper and kept on pulling off. The end product was on a computer and it had many rough edges so I do not thing that it will last very long with use.

Great decal, apply slowly, stays on great
Was nervous to apply this based on other reviews, how ever i found rubbing the decal with a credit card well helped to get all the small parts stick to the backing paper while applying. I just went careful and slow checking all the decal parts were sticking to the window and not the backing paper. Once applied decal looks great and has been on now for a month, several washes and storms and isnt peeling or anything.
