Amazon Basics Cat6 Ethernet Solid Bulk Cable (23 AWG, UTP) - 1000-Foot, Red

I used a "passive POE" injector with 1350ft of this cable, including a midspan splice (Female/Female and RJ45 plugs), to a DROK buck/boost converter to charge a mountaintop battery with an attached 25W continuous load. Very little voltage drop, this stuff is heavy duty but easy to deploy and I like the red color for what I'm doing with it. It's equivalent to 18/2 and I could probably get away with any cable but I feel like it was worth the cost in this use case.

Cable comes in a sturdy cardboard box with some extra room, avoiding kinks and damage. Box can be easily re-closed without tape if you don't need all the cable at once. Cable itself is expected quality, functional with no surprises (good or bad). There is no writing/markings of any kind on the cable, it's just black.

Solid cable, not much more to say about it other than buy it if you‘re looking for cat6 cable. Can kink a bit coming out of the box be mindful of this when pulling runs

The plastic dispenser piece running into the middle of the box was completely broken off upon arrival. Pretty disappointed, but I was able to hot glue the plastic pieces together so they could snap back in place again. After that, the cable has come out great and has been amazing thus far! For those concerned, the cable is 100% solid copper, and does meet the standards that Amazon claims on this listing. Used it to power two POE Ring cameras, around 15ft from crawl space to attic. Got no problem and worked nice directly. Used this pack for the plug and testers, best cheap combination. Love the red color, makes it really stand out. The cable unwinds from the box well, able to run through the walls and ceiling with no issues / snags. Don’t have much running through it but everything is 1Gb so no issues there at all, installed CAT6 to future proof.

Very thick. So it required larger conduit width.

Ran cat in my whole house, 30 pulls and it does the job great. I have a gig down and the wire did not degrade at furtherest point. Very happy with product. Im a 20 year IT engineer and very picky.

Used this to run Cat6 in my house to reduce the high bandwidth consumers on the WIFI. I ran 12 runs plus made some patch cables with a ton remaining. It pulled out the box well, didnt have a single kink. Making connections was not a problem using a punch down tool, but attaching male ends to the patch cables was a bit tedious. Overall everything is running nicely. Ping from the furthest point in the house, through patch panel and switch to the router is less than 1ms. As you can see in the picture, using proper CAT6 connectors and gigabit router, the network is running at 1 GBPS.

Bobina acquistata a gennaio 2022 a 80€. Il cavo è molto robusto, la guaina è solida e molto difficile da danneggiare (spessore circa 0.5mm). I conduttori sono in rame puro, le coppie sono divise dal classico separatore dei cat6. Il cavo è abbastanza rigido, è poco adatto a passare in canaline sottili o fare angoli stretti. Sul cavo, oltre alle normative, è riportato ogni 60cm la posizione nella bobina in piedi.

Bought this cable for home lan, blue color is quite handy to spot out the cable in areas where there are more cables in one place... I would buy also white version of this, but not in stock.Comes in standard carboard box for easy manipulation and pulling through.

Fantastico e robusto cavo CAT6 in VERO RAME (non ferro con laccatura in rame come gli altri cavi cat6 più economici che si trovano qui su Amazon), prestazioni da specifica, fattura ottima e comoda scatola in cartone con buco integrato per sfilare progressivamente il cavo.Unica pecca: le misure sono in piedi, non metri/cm, quindi se vi basate sull’indicazione della lunghezza presente ogni metro (piede in questo caso) sul cavo, fate i conti in piedi, non metri!

Cavo di ottima qualità, difficile chiedere di meglio. Consiglio di tenere d'occhio il prezzo perché spesso si abbassa di molto, quasi arrivando a metà del prezzo massimo. C'è da dire che, comunque, il prezzo massimo è onesto
