I purchased this for my 3-year old grandson who was taking a long road trip with his parents. I wasn't sure if he knew how to lace beads, but I started showing him and poof, he was off to the races. The beads are bright, easy to handle and easy to string. The tub comes with lots of shapes and colors but only two laces. It would have been nice to have the same number of laces as their are colors or shapes. You can purchase them separately from other vendors and I may do that. Otherwise, GREAT product!

Bought these for our nursery kids and they all loved them. Made necklaces with them and wore them home. Lots of fun, some of the older kids identified shapes and colors so it became a learning experience as well.

The only thing I wasn't 100% satisfied with was that the strings are like cheap shoelaces, so if their fabric gets caught on something rough or sharp they're more easily damaged. This likely won't be a problem for many customers. I personally have cats that are too interested in the string

Bought for my toddler to sort as he started showing an inclination for it. He loves digging his hands in the bucket of beads, much the same way he does in the sandbox. The size is just right for his little hands. (Also, he rarely puts non-food items in his mouth.) He can barely get the lace into the hole and we'll get to sorting eventually. We let him string the beads on a chopstick (with supervision): the square and cylindrical beads fit but the round ones are too small.(I think these beads are smaller than the Melissa & Doug beads.)

My son uses for home physical therapy and these are very nice, increase his fine and gross motor skills. Also used for color and shape sorting

I bought these for my daughter with autism she really likes them and there easy to string. The beads are wooden and well made. I would recommend these for a small child or special needs.
