First, I am very fair with light blond eyebrows and lashes. Eyeshadow that looks understated on someone else can make me look like a circus clown.That being said, I love these shimmery colors. I realized that well-applied eyeshadow makes my makeup look much more polished and pulled together. But I didn't have much experience with loose eyeshadow powders.These are wonderful. I agree with "Almost Perfect" that the nude pearl with walnut is a great look. On me, the nude pearl with judiciously applied Oro (a light copper) at the crease line and blended into the lower lid, with a touch of walnut just above the crease line, is very nice.Pros: Nice shimmer, nice hues, a LOT of quantity packed into a tiny bottle.Cons: Needs primer to stay put, is a light fluffy powder that drifts easily so it takes just a tiny bit of care not to get it on one's cheeks, is packed in a non-usable bottle so one needs another container (see below).** Here is what I wish I knew to begin with (or wish that I had paid attention to) **1) Yes, these really do need different containers. SE 87136DB 30-Piece Plastic Storage Container are working really well for me. I just could not evenly apply them out of the bottle. The powders are light and fluffy; so be warned - you might have to use a paper towel underneath when transferring them.2) And yes, it is not even worth using these without a primer. I have discovered that it is not worth putting on any eyeshadow without a primer because it does not last all day. (I did a comparison between Elf and Urban Decay /NYX and Urban Decay primers. On my skin, the difference was so dramatic that I could not leave the house without re-applying the Urban decay to the other lid.)3) Just like nail polish - several light coats are much better than one thick one.4) One needs to tap the brush after picking up the powder - these are very light and can fall off to the cheek.5) And if it lands on one's cheeks anyway, a secondary purpose for that weird makeup brush that looks like a flat triangle is to flick the shadow off rather than rubbing it in. That brush is worth its weight in gold.6) A few good brushes are essential. I love the big E60 brush from Sigma Sigma Large Shader - E60 and this really inexpensive set with really nice brushes Bellus 13 Piece Makeup Brush Set and Case which I bought for a little under $13 on sale on Amazon. Using cheap foam applicators were not doing the trick for me.7) Practice was my friend. It is not difficult, but I needed to get the hang of these brushes and applying a smooth application with the right colors/right amount of layering.8) If I apply a few layers of light shadow, I can blend almost any darker shadow into it and still have a muted look. Or, I can apply a few layers of darker shadow without the light and look pretty intense. I love the options. But light-first is essential for a soft, muted look.9) Speaking of blending, I learned to blend blend blend. It only takes about 5 seconds but it makes a lot of difference.I hope this is helpful to other loose eyeshadow "newbies".

I swear this is the product I used back in 2015 to really make the inner corners of my eyes pop white with sparkle! I have been searching for it and no where sells it anymore but I was able to order a 2 pack off here and it came in a cute little drawstring bag!

love this color and the pearly finish. get the primer. easy to use, lasts all day and night. small bottle lasts a long time.

I bought 3 of these and I must say that they are comparable to more expensive loose pigment eyeshadows out there. You just need the tiniest amount to cover the whole lid as the color is very strong and visible. They are also ultra-shiny. It came within the estimated shipping time frame. My only complaint is the small size of it. I never expected it to be super tiny. You have to really be careful not to let it slip your hand and spill the pigment all over. The opening of the jar is, of course, super small also, so you will need a small eyeshadow brush for this.

I got Mink, Sky Pink, and Walnut. They are all lovely. The pigments are intense (REALLY). The little bottles are ADORABLE but not functional. From reviews, I thought I knew that there were problems in that arena but I assumed I would be able to use the cap as a reservoir. Unfortunately the cap's design does not allow for that, so you should make sure to get alternative containers for the powders. I got bead jars.In the future, I expect to pick up more of these. Lavender looks lovely.

this is way to shiney for me and there is no way to tone the shimmer down. it's a very adolescent color if that makes sense. it looks like a teenage girl color or play make up. wouldn't buy again. the shimmer settles in the fine lines that noone wants to be noticed. pass

I originally bought this eye shadow from Walmart and used it daily for about a year before running out. I do not like dark eye shadows and found that this color is perfect - neutral color with a lot of shimmer! It is a light powder that you shake onto your finger to apply. Unfortunately, when I went back to Walmart to purchase more, I realized that they no longer carried NYX brand. Very excited that I was able to find this product on Amazon! Have been using for a few months now and is the exact same product I previously bought in store. Five stars!

I guess it's my fault for not reading all the specifications more carefully, but frankly I have purchased many bottles of this eyeshadow in the past and they have always been a normal size, so it never occurred to me that I'd need to check that. The bottle is tiny; about .19 ounce. To access the contents I had to use a Q-tip (or dump out the contents into a different container). The contents are good, but I would never buy it knowing it was that tiny.
