Brilliant such a joy to observe real health care practiced in USA so sadly lacking in realitySuperb acting and of course based on the real life bookA must watch for any critics of our NHS

Loved this show quite gripping and very well Acted the great.characters makes you smile makes you laugh and sometimes could even bring you to tears very well written I look forward to series 3

Subtitles (for those interested) UK R2 DAZZLER DVD
Re: UK R2 Dazzler DVD release. Another Dazzler release listed on the site as coming with subtitles when in actual fact it doesn't! NO SUBTITLES WHATSOEVER ARE PRESENT ON THE UK DAZZLER RELEASE!No advertised subtitles so it's gone back. The USA R1 release comes with subtitles so I guess I'll be importing that!Folks requiring English subtitles - The German Sony release is R2 (same as UK) & when u load it, it’s identical to any UK DVD. English menus, language, optional English SDH subtitles!! Only unavoidable German is on the back cover of the box.

Amazing series
The series is so entertaining this is just one part.

Disappointing
Got through 20 minutes of the pilot episode. Full of clichés and woke situations. I predicted the exact words that were going to be said. The other reviews are all 5 stars so I'm in the minority. My expectations are probably due to my age. I think of the old hospital dramas like St Elsewhere and ER.

Difficile de faire mieux,
J'ai eu peur, je me suis dit encore une, et après 40 minutes le temps d'un épisodes je n'ai pas pus m'arrêter, une vision totalement différente de la pratique médicale aux Etats Unis, des médecins oui mais pas des héros des hommes et femmes comme tous le monde. ils ont leurs problèmes à résoudre mais après celui des patients, tous les acteurs sans exception sont vraiment à leurs places, ils ne peuvent pas êtres plus crédibles, tiré de faits réel le New Amsterdam vas vous coller à la peau, J'espère vraiment que max et son équipe seront la pour un bon bout de temps, mais Universal n'est pas la fox eux ils respectent leurs clients. Espérons qu'ils continuent sur cette voie.

Tolle Serie vom Krankenhaus
Ich bin selbst Ärztin und man müsste denken, dass ich genug vom Krankenhaus hätte.Diese Serie hat mich aber süchtig gemacht und zwar durch die Charaktere der Hauptdarsteller, und das sind nicht nur 2 oder 3! Ich bin selbst zum Junkie (Serien-Junkie) geworden und kann es kaum erwarten, wie es in Staffel 2 (auf deutsch) weiter geht. Darauf warte ich sehnsüchtig!
