For the price, this is an absolutely sensational piece of kit. I already own and use its big brother (the 40w speaker in my shed) so bought on the strength of this. The unit is compact (it would almost fit into a beer can) but heavy - it needs to be given the sound it delivers. The sound quality is great for rich mid- range music (rock, jazz), given its size it may not be so brilliant for genres that favour heavy bass. Also, vocals can sound a touch boxy. But guitar solos and rich compositions sound fantastic. It supports the useful Alexa and Hey Google, and the useless Siri and comes with an audio lead which means that you can use it to boost your PC or TV sound. Pairing was seamless with my iPhone and PC. I haven’t yet been able to test the waterproofness or battery life, but given the current weather in the UK I may update this review soon! I often compare these units to their Sonos equivalents - I have never used a Sonos Move, butI Ian many Sonos Ones and I reckon two of these (you can set them up in stereo) at under a tenth of the price would give it a real run for its money. If you’re going on holiday, in the kitchen, shed or bathroom and want your beats, this must be the best value product you can possibly buy. I’m going to buy a second one and use it to replace the PC sound system in my office, taking one on hold to annoy the people in the adjacent room!

I had been looking for a speaker for quite a long time now and I came down to this one. For just £36 pounds, this speaker is just mind blowing. the sheer bass, the sound quality and the battery life is just really great. I really like the water proof rating, IPX7 and it really makes me feel safe to take my speaker anywhere, anytime. And as the speaker is compact, but heavy, i can take it anywhere i want to, with ease. The pairing was seamless with my google pixel and my TV. I haven’t yet been able to test the IPX7 rating yet, but i think i might edit this soon enough to give a proper review! Overall, it is a product of great value and i can truly say, that its money well spent.

The disappointment was that despite the voice assist/Alexa claim, if you connect it to your Echo, the voice assistanct on the speaker itself does not control your Echo, typical scenario would be to connect to an Echo dot and then perhaps use the speaker in the bathroom hoping that if you wanted to change the music or radio station you could do it from the voice assistant button on the speaker, but no, you would need to get out of the bath and go to the room with your Echo dot and speak to her in the normal way, and then resume your bath! this might work if you are connected via a mobile phone, but not a separate Amazon Echo device, which i was not clear at least to me! Update - February 2022 I still like this speaker, it's working well and I use it daily, there has however been one thing which I feel I should warn other buyers about. The micro sd card is very useful to have in order to play audio from the card. However the slot is not completely flush within it's housing, I accidentally pushed an SD card into it which got stuck, and when trying to extract it, it fell inside the speaker with no way to get it back being a sealed device, rather annoying as it was a large capacity card. Low and behold I did the same thing again, so now there are two SD cards rattling around inside, this seems to be an easy thing to do so i would suggest taking real care when clicking the SD card into the rear slot, the two SD cards cost me more than the speaker, and until the speaker breaks I've lost them for good!

Before I post a review I'd like to point out that we are lovers of music and almost every single type. Dance, classic, pop, Chill- house, rock etc etc. These units are great for all. Our cars have Bowers and Wilkins, Burmester and our home is Bose. So we appreciate quality music. Are these units as good? Well, not quite. For starters they are too small to produce the subtle blend of bass that you get with big systems. But... and it is a big one.... despite their size these units are incredible. We bought two units and they sync together within seconds of turning them on. They then sync extremely quickly with the phone and, this was great for us, the bluetooth range is brilliant. Our house isn't very big but we've never had a unit that allows your phone to stay in your pocket as you wander around the house and still listen to the music. Honestly, the sound is terrific. We use them in the garden and the sound is very good. The sync is intelligent and speakers work using a lovely stereo range (not just a duplicate sound). Battery life... no idea to be honest. We charge them up every so often and play them full pelt for many hours whilst out in the garden. As a lover of quality music I am honestly staggered at these units. I would strongly urge you to buy two as the sound quality is fabulous when you put these speakers 5 metres apart.

It might be a little early to write this review but I felt I had to because I just can't believe how good it is for such a small cheap Bluetooth speaker, first of all I ordered it late last night and it was delivered today and I'm not even a prime member, secondly the packaging makes it look like it's a really expensive product, it came ready charged and connected instantly to my Moto G4 after playing around with the sound settings on my phone I got an absolutely awesome sound to come out if this little beauty, it looks and feels such good quality, I spent two days looking at all different Bluetooth speakers and took a gamble on this one, so glad I did, I'm so tempted to buy another one, the only thing that annoyed me was I paid £28.99 for it but noticed today it's been reduced again but still it's worth every penny I spent on it, I just hope it lasts but time will tell, also I haven't tried hooking my MP3 player up to it yet so can't comment on the 3.5 input, or battery life, go on treat yourself I would be surprised if you regret it.

Had this for 2 years and 7 months at the time of writing this review. It's been to hell and back. It lives on the side of my bag and is used at least once a week for a good few hours at a time. Surprisingly loud and pretty impressive clarity for its size. Good bass. Mostly listen to punk and metal, a bit of D&B.. no complaints at all. I actually lost mine for just over 2 months, found it hanging from a tree branch - still works perfectly. Was still charged when I found it! Much, much better than some £65+ speakers I tried before this (always been one to buy well known brands until trying this one).

For the price which is only a tiny fraction of Bose, Harman Kardon or anything in that league it is a decent set of speakers particularly if you pump the volume up and let the low frequency to kick in...sort of. The sound is clear I have to admit which is good. However, I compared it with something that is comparable in terms of size i.e. my pretty old set of tiny computer JBL loudspeakers powered by Harmans inside and it did not pass the test alas.... it seems that you have to go for the high end if you want to enjoy good quality of sound without disturbing everyone around you with very loud music. Low volume performance is not the strongest feature of this little set. Still, this thing is well built, portable and looking nice aesthetically, so for the little money you get a good value. If you are just fed up with the speaker build in iPhone this will be a very nice upgrade.

I highly recommend this little speaker. It is most definitely waterproof and quite loud for its size. I sit it on the back roof hatch of my narrowboat, about 3 feet in front of me at chest height, and I can hear it no problem over the loud beat of the engine under my feet. Hubby can just about make it out 50 feet away whilst travelling, a decent feat as we need walkies to communicate. I'm stunned that it's withstood the extremes I've put it through. It does its job well whilst exposed for hours at a time to belting sun and torrential downpour. It's battery life is good too, I charge it every couple of days whilst travelling and I've yet to have it die on me.

Connects easily. The sound is good and there are mulitple features.
