product description says 5.9”. The ball is about 3”. Everyone else’s I’ve seen got the size description right. As for the color, it it popped like the pics much could be forgiven. It ain’t bad, it’s just kinda standard looking. Wouldn’t stand out in a group of Christmas ornaments from a box store, so I should have bought a couple dozen of those and a drink instead

It is extremely beautiful! Purchased this item for my parents to gift to my sister's in laws who are obsessed with all things Mt. St. Helen and I'm glad I did. The craftsmanship is superb and it looks gorgeous when the light hits it! The fact that it contains ashes from the Mt. Saint Helen 1980 eruption made it the perfect gift and allows us to start a new tradition by purchasing a new and different one for them every year, in order to create a collection!

This is a beautiful ornament; looks like the photo. HOWEVER, the description says it is nearly 5.5" or 6" in diameter and it is only about 3.5" or 4". So, I cannot use it for my purposes and must return it. I'm disappointed about that.

This stunning ornament was a great way to commemorate and remember our recent vacation to the Seattle area, where many of the great glassblowing artists work! I love that it was hand-blown by local artists in the Pacific Northwest and the rainbow "kaleidoscope" of different colors in the ornament are truly beautiful, even if the colors are slightly darker than I expected them to be from looking at the product image.I also love products that have interesting stories and this ornament definitely does! The most unique aspect of this ornament is that the glass contains ash from the Mt. St. Helen's volcanic eruption - what an interesting story to tell people when they comment on the beauty of the ornament! The size and weight of the ornament was perfect for our Christmas tree and I love the fact that no two ornaments from Glass Eye studio are exactly the same, since all of their products are handmade.

I acquired my first ornament from this studio when visiting in person so I was able to choose among many. Therefore I was wary of what I would receive randomly in the mail. Although the coloring of mine is not nearly as saturated as the one illustrated, it is pretty and the two together add a bit of visual interest to an otherwise sparse window.

I disliked everything about this item and I returned it! Simply horrible

It's gorgeous! I can't wait to see it on my Christmas tree with twinkling lights behind it.
