I should have listened to other reviewers about the clip size, but I thought it would be fine since my girl is 8 pounds (whereas a lot of the reviews I was reading were for 3-5 pound dogs). We have the matching harness for this leash, which we love, so I wanted the matching leash. But the clip is huge and really heavy - not enough for me to return it; but I use this as my backup leash, not my primary as was intended. The clip is far too large for the width of the leash and the size of dog that would be using said leash. I feel like my dog walks funny when we use this leash because she thinks something is on her back. lol Seller: maybe in the next iteration of this style, you can make the clip an appropriate size. Great value for money, however.

This is a nice looking leash and good quality but the hardware is huge and heavy, which is not great for a smaller dog. The clip really doesn't need to be like that for a leash this skinny (I bought the x-small/small size). I'm keeping this as a backup leash in case my dog's other leash gets chewed.

I actually really like the leash portion of this leash. It's low profile, strong, looks good, is well made, and is reflective without being obnoxious about it, like you see on other leases that have reflective design. I'm glad I made this purchase.The only point of criticism that I have is that the latch portion of the leash is oversized for the size dog this leash is designed for. I purchased "XS/S" size, which is for a small dog. The latch is well made, but is always hanging down below my dog's neck close to the ground because...well, he's a smaller dog. They should put a smaller piece of hardware on the leash in this size. My dog is 19 lbs and fairly strong for his size - he probably doesn't even notice it - but I do.

I love my new Pawtitas dog leash. It is great quality and has reflective stitching for safety. I love the little logo on the leash and you can purchase matching collars and harnesses. I have looked at various leashes both online and at the large pet store chains and these stood out. I loved it so much, I also purchased two more colors for my new puppy along with the matching collars and harnesses! I purchased the pink color and it looks more like a hot neon pink when you see it in person. I still love it, but the Aqua and Pink Camo are my favorite colors. I will probably get the Purple Orchid when its time for another. Great product...definitely recommend!

My very large 60+lb. doodle puppy and I walk a rural country road which most of the time we have to ourselves. He’s big and strong but most of the time walks well enough. We have 6 ft leashes for him but I was curious about this 4 ft length and am happy with this purchase. Like others said it’s long enough for a walk but not at heel. I can also get him closer to me a bit faster if need be due to traffic that may come along too quickly or any other distractions that make him pull into the road. I will still use the 6 ft leashes when he’s calmer ( reading his mood before we head out the door.) This length would also be good for walking in pet friendly stores when we get to that point...I’m not sure if it’s very reflective but we’re out during the day as our night walks are in the well lit backyard. I would subtract half a star for the hand loop. I have a small hand and find the loop opening is bigger than his other leashes; therefore I keep it over my wrist and make a conscious effort to hang onto it.... I think it will be fine when I’m wearing mittens or gloves this winter. Already washed it and it looks fine. Already ordered another one in a different color.

This collar is described as a "Pet Puppy Leash Reflective Dog Leash"; it is but only if you puppy or dog weighs 20 pounds or more. The quality of the material is excellent- strong, lightweight and comfortable. I would have rated it as a 5 star item, but I have an issue with the toggle/swivel that attaches to the collar. It is VERY large and HEAVY, and totally inappropriate for a small puppy or small dog. I cannot use it on my six-pound senior dog; it is simply too heavy for her 7-1/2 inch neck. It's also too heavy when wearing a harness. I wish this leash was available in a narrower width with a smaller swivel, and more compatible with the extra small sizes of the collars and harnesses. I will probably return this..

Amazon recommended this when I purchased an XS harness and it came in two widths. I selected the XS width but was disappointed when it arrived with a standard lobster claw clip. Way too clunky and just smacks my petite pup on walks. I have gifted it to a friend with a medium dog. Nice quality leash and attractive color. Perfect for medium and lager dogs.

I rather like this lead, very heavy duty - probably a bit too robust for our rough collie, could maybe have gone to something a bit slimmer, but this certainly seems like it will keep going for a long time - the stiching seems solid and the metal connector is very solid

It’s a very good lead (colour - orange), seller’s description is also correct. I wouldn’t say that the lead is super visible in the dark, but yes, it has reflective properties. I’d recommend it. She

Goes with the harness from the same company only available in 1.8 length would have preferred 1.2 so just 4stars.

Like this narrow lead for my 11week old puppy. Looks good and withstanding some puppy chewing. Only downside is the metal clip is a bit heavy for a very small dog/puppy
