My physical therapist recommended something like this to help with neck/shoulder pain from tensing up in the cold. This is great for keeping my face and neck warm for daily errands without the bulk of a scarf which would push the neck forward while driving. Easy to pull up over my nose when I step outside and back down when going inside without irritating my sensitive skin. Keeps me from hunching my shoulders in the cold/as I wait for my car to heat up. It lets the warmth and humidity from my breath keep my nose/lips from drying out and keeps me from coughing in the dry air (only downside is it fogs up my glasses). Wash on gentle and air dry. I rotate two during the week. Worth the price.

(ski review) I like this one over the merino wool ones. It feels like the merino gets wetter faster and the material allows the ice to form. These are silky and although they obviously get a bit wet, it doesn’t feel as frozen. They’re thicker than the original material and keep me warm enough.

I use it all the time. It does everything it's supposed to. Everything's great.

Was light weight, best in colder temperatures, fits great, very good durability, lightweight like the color and want to get the cool neck too.

This gator is perfect. I had a couple of conversations with Buff before purchasing. The ThermoNet is a little thicker than the EcoStretch and CoolNet, which is what I wanted. And it is the only one with finished ends. The actual dimensions are 19" x 9.5", not the 9" x 8" (that is the card dimensions it came on) that the item description said. So don't let that fool you. It also has 4-way stretch. Will be using it on my walks in cold weather. UPDATE: Wore this first time on walk with cold breeze. It kept my hears head, and neck war, and definitely absorbed the sweat. Would highly recommend UPDATE UPDATE: Used this on a trip to Ireland where we got wind up to 60 mph in 52 degree weather, and it was perfect And boy does it wich sweat away. So glad I purchased it.

This is the warm one. Pay attention to what kind you get cuz while this one is made for cold environments, there are ones for just a cool jog in the morning and others for climbing mount everest. In any case, this is very good, nice and warm, versatile, and overall a great purchase.

Me gustó mucho este buff, es mucho mas caliente que un buff normal y un poquito mas caliente que un "buff" de lana merino que tengo de Decathlon. Para el viento moderadamente bien, similar a un "buff"/coipa de tela polar (que son mucho mas gruesos). Excelente opción para el invierno, la he usado tanto en moto (mucho mas comoda que las de tela polar) y para hacer senderismo.

This is the winter weight buff not fleece just heavier fabric than the light or summer weight. Excellent for hiking in the mountains.
