This light clamps to my microscope perfectly; it is very bright, long gooseneck adjust any way you need to use it. Has a long cord with a very handy toggle switch for on and off. Perfect!!!

Yep,Very happy with this... 500 lumens is way better than some of the 200 or 250 lumen lights being offered.It has a nice on/off toggle switch and a great gooseneck length to reach just about any angle you'd like. The clamp is very strong and stays put. The light source is bright but small enough to put the light right down on the thing you are working on.I love it!

For those who complain about 'sideways light leakage': It's quite annoying. I wrapped 3/4" electrical tape around the bottom outside edge of the lamp head and VOILA! Problem solved. The clip is VERY strong. I haven't used it very long (workbench light) but agree that the gooseneck may sag over time. It may or may not be a problem depending on the application. I noticed that I was able to partially unscrew the lamp head by accident. I didn't attempt to take the head all the way off for fear of breaking something. It could be that the entire head is replaceable if the LEDs burn out. Film at 11....

My reviews don't usually include: "I'm legally blind with light perception and grey scale vision." In this case, I think it's important in helping readers understand the product review. QUANS has designed this product so one has not only one spot but also a diffuse halo. The 'shade' has open slits. The image and description are exact. The light stays cool and doesn't hurt the eyes. Easy clamp with the on/off switch conveniently located. Adjusting the light for viewing is simple. The benefit for me is a light source that can be directed in a way that allows for better visual quality. Overhead lighting and lamps create a 'whiteout' effect that does not allow for contrast. My eyes need 3.5 refraction but that doesn't help with strokes that affect the occipital lobes of the brain. I see as one might view a very blurry old B&W photo. Fortunately, I am computer and tablet literate. Narrator (OS type) and a screen reader have been the best option for 5 years. What I did not expect was to be able to see a keyboard! This is a terrific light source for those with normal vision. No assembly required and the box is perfect as a gift box, too. Good gift for home or dorm!

I wasn't terribly impressed when I first used this lamp. However, it grew on me. We use it in the bathroom when we don't want to use the dual fan/overhead light. Its light is bright and white. I don't like yellow light, especially in the bathroom.Despite where it was placed (above the mirrors), the lamp didn't rust. We definitely got our money's worth on this purchase. It nearly lasted 5 years, and we used it daily.I imagine it would have been an excellent reading light, and it would have probably lasted just as long.I purchased the light on 1/7/18! Pretty awesome.I just ordered a new one. I hope it serves me as well as the original did.Thanks!

I loved this light. It is attractive, has great flex, a strong clamp, and is (was) very bright. I used it every day. As an LED, I thought it would have lasting power, but, less than four years in, the light has completely died, and the LED lighting components do not appear easily replaceable. Perhaps I should have expected this for the price, but, come on, LEDs should last longer. The rest of the light itself is still like new, but, of course, its primary function is lighting and it no longer does that. I am so sad that I now have to trash it. It's a great light, but just know that you'll only get 3-4 years from it. Hence, my three-star rating, instead of five.

I needed adjustable lighting for my studio. These lamps performed better than I had hoped. The soft light is perfect for playing, and the white light great if I need to connect cables. The lamps are currently clamped to the ceiling beam, which makes them easy to adjust. I have another clamped to the side of a table for doing close work.Another reviewer suggested mounting a magnet to one leg of the clamp. I’m going to try that so I can mount the lamps to the side of the steel beam.The USB connector and included wall plug power supply make these lamps very handy for other low voltage uses, such as connecting to a computer or 5V power bank. Plus, not having 110 volts close to the equipment means no hum pickup.The connecting cord is long enough to allow the operating controls to be easily accessible. I can see using these as reading lamps for bedside use and will order more.

This little light is perfect for us! We have it clamped to a 2 ft wide parlor table between our recliners. We can turn the room lighting off and sit by the fire....and still read, play cribbage and see what's on the table. The light shines down and not in our faces. The three lighting shades are very nice. I like the creamy light in the morning and the brighter white light in the evening to read by. The light end swivels a bit to either direction and the goose neck is very movable and stays put. This little light saved me from needing to buy a standing lamp, which would have been too much for our space and a table lamp would have taken up too much room on our table. I love this light!
