Great Bread Machine - Recommended
This is one of the best products that I have ever purchased on Amazon. I have had the most fun and success with it. I only wish that I had got one sooner. I always wanted to try making bread but the long winded and manual process always put me off. So, when I saw this on offer with so many good reviews, I ordered it straight away. This Tower Bread maker was a doddle to set up, and the first thing I tried was French Bread. As this uses very few ingredients, I thought it would be easiest to make. The smell while it was cooking had all of the family salivating and asking when it would be ready. This will definitely come in handy when we want to sell the house :) Anyway, it came out perfectly, and was soon eaten and enjoyed by the whole family. I have lost track of how many loaves I have now made, but we have a few favourites - the French Bread, the Cheese and Onion and even the Quick loaf (1hr 40m). We have yet to try the Ultra Fast setting (58 minutes) as there weren't any recipes for this in the manual but I think you can just use any Quick or Basic recipes. Also, the excellent Tower customer services have now sent me some recipes to try. If you want to make it even easier, loaf mixes can even be used. Our favourite so far is the M&S seeded loaf - just add water and the mix and use program 1; easy and tasty. So far I have only tried the recipes in the manual and there are quite a lot to choose from. I now feel confident to experiment and alter some of the recipes and try recipes from elsewhere. In short, everything I have tried has come out brilliantly. We find medium crust comes out a little lighter than we prefer, so always use dark crust. I wish there was a way to make that the default. Things I want to try - dough for pizza, rolls, making the dough in the machine and then baking the bread in a loaf tin. Any niggles? - The machine makes a quiet buzzing noise when turned on (transformer buzz?). - I wish I could make Dark crust the default. If you are on the fence, then I can recommend this machine. It has been perfect for me and I now use it most days. I haven't bought a loaf of bread since I got it!

Read my review first please.
Many years ago, I had a bread maker that was absolutely brilliant. Every loaf came out perfect and they actually looked like commercial loaves. Sadly, it died so I bought another one and I didnโt like it one bit. Fortunately, it also died. I bought another one. I didnโt like it either and it died so I bought another one. I didnโt like it either so I bought this one and Iโm going to give a review about this one based on the fact that I have had many bread makers. For the first loaf I made, I used a recipe that I created with my last bread maker that gave me a perfect loaf (the breadmaker was huge which is why I didnโt like it). That recipe did not fare well in the new tower machine. It didnโt want to mix in the beginning (someone commented on that and I think maybe there was too much flour in the pan because todayโs amount was less). Plus my first loaf came out not browned at all and very heavy and wet so I threw away that recipe. I made a loaf today using the recipe posted below by Tanelorn. What you see in my picture is how the bread turned out. Itโs a very good colour: the outside is not too stiff. I used the dark setting which I usually donโt do but I tried it on this loaf because the first loaf was not brown at all (which was the fault of the recipe, not the bread maker). Also, I find in every loaf of bread I make in a bread maker, I need to use a lot more yeast than any recipe specifies. So I used a tablespoon of yeast in this mixture today and Iโm happy with that because the size was almost to the top of the bread pan but it still browned nicely (if you use too much yeast and it rises above the bread pan it doesnโt cook so be warned). As for texture, I still found this loaf was a little too wet so I will decrease the amount of water that I use next time and only add more if itโs not mixing at all which can happen sometimes (you want your dough to be mixed altogether and when you touch it, it doesnโt stick to your finger and it springs back). In regards to the other reviews that are posted: you will notice inside the bread maker there is an imprint of a lock open and shut: what that means is you turn the bread pan to get it out. I see a review on here where someone returned the bread maker because they had a problem removing the pan. Secondly, a person talked about cooking sausages in it and the black coating coming on. I think theyโre talking about a different product and put that review on the wrong product. I do not recommend cooking sausages in this bread maker because the bread maker is for making bread not cooking sausages. Another person complained that the paddle ended up in the bread and that has happened to me every single time Iโve made a loaf of bread in any machine other than this one that I made today because when I put the paddle in, I pushed it down very hard so thatโs probably the trick so it doesnโt end up in the bread. However, Iโm going to have to lift it out to wash it so for me itโs better if it ends up in the bread because thereโs a hole anyway that the paddle creates. Plus, this bread maker gives you a little hook to grab hold of the paddle and pull it out. None of my other breadmakers gave me a little hook to get the paddle out of the bread. Then letโs look at the review that mentions that the recipes talk about using cups and this person had no idea what cups were saying that the recipes should use either metric or imperial. So let me set the record straight: cups is an imperial measurement and I donโt know why Google wouldnโt tell them that because Siri is very good about converting cups to millilitres (which is the same as grams when weighing). So yes the recipes are written with imperial measurements but thatโs easy enough to convert using any cooking source you can find. Finally, I want to address the person who said what were they supposed to do with the ingredients? Just dump them in the pan? And yes, thatโs what you do. You just put them in the pan in the order in which theyโre listed because the water should always be on the bottom and the yeast always on the top. Thatโs how most recipes are created so if youโve ever cooked anything even packaged food do it in the order in which itโs listed. I am fairly happy with the loaf I got today. Like I said, itโs just a little too wet and dense for me. I think that everyone needs to tweak the recipe to get exactly what they want and thatโs the good thing about making your own food because you can make it the way that you want. I thought the machine was rather quiet. Itโs very sleek looking and its slim size doesnโt take up excess space in the cupboard. The price was reasonable and it has a lot of functions which Iโm looking forward to using. I do recommend this product and if you donโt get an instruction book like somebody else said then go on the website or call the company and ask for one as Iโm sure they will be happy to send it to you. I hope this addresses all the issues raised here and will help you make an informed choice. Good luck.

Nice little bread maker
If you have never used a bread maker you will find this acceptable, as Iโve had two other bread makers I had to return this one because it doesnโt come up to the standard of my old one so had to order my tried and tested machine again. Itโs a lighter machine which was nice and the bread although smaller than Iโm used to was perfectly fine. I found this one noisier. If you want a smaller and lighter machine this one would fit the bill.

A good investment for anyone wanting to get into bread making!
I bought this bread maker on sale and itโs been one of the best investments Iโve ever made for my kitchen! Several days a week, Iโll add my yeast, sugar and warm water into the machine while itโs turned off. Then after 10 mins when itโs all bubbled up, Iโll add the dry ingredients and oil and let the machine do its thing. So far, Iโve only had one loaf not turn out the best. But that was an error on my end. The machine also comes with recipes for different breads and so far theyโve been great. I love the focaccia one the most! Iโve ended up baking bread for my friends and bringing it over when I visit and itโs gone down well every time. The machine is on the smaller size, but it makes fantastic loaves, keeps them warm once baking has finished, and itโs super easy to clean. I highly recommend it if youโre looking for a first time bread maker for a small family, couple, or just as a hobby!

Mixes and bakes well, easy to clean; among the lower-priced machines available, it works well.
Easy to use. Mixes well, bakes well, loaf drops out leaving the paddle in the bucket (but a hook is supplied in case the paddle stays in loaf). Easy to clean really non-stick bucket with water and dish-cleaning brush. Rest just wipe with damp cloth. Can use recipes from other machines, or books etc. Experiment! some adjustments might be useful; e.g. I use less water with my flour. Also, wholemeal loaves are by nature dense; substituting some white or brown flour for wholemeal (cยผ -ยฝ) makes a lighter loaf. Results do vary with the flour, because flours vary, not the fault of the machine. I've had no problems. Note the 'large' size approx. equates to a small shop-bought loaf, so a large family could have this running frequently. Homemade bread lacks the preservatives of bought bread so needs to be eaten quickly โ you will! Control buttons could usefully have words as well as the pictures but you will soon learn them. Display fount rather light, could be heavier, but is readable. Instructions do not mention the bucket is locked in and has to be twisted slightly before lifting โ see back inside of the container for embossed symbols for this. As with all breadmaker machines, the delay timer is better avoided. Cooking as soon as ingredients are loaded (in the order given in the recipe, to keep the yeast away from the water at first) is best.

Excellent Machine
Excellent Bread Maker, replacement for an old one and this is just fantastic, the larger 2lb loaf is great, made a quick loaf from the enclosed book and within 1hr 40mins an amazing loaf! Highly recommend

Tower bread maker
It took a long time to get a recipe to work in the bread maker and I had to use AI to help adapt the recipe to get it somewhat ok. Bread tasted lovely but it would usually dip at the top. The one star is because the text has also started to come off of the top - the menu number option, so an important part. I've only had it since January 26. I nearly returned it after a few disastrous loafs but stuck with it but now the text is vanishing I'm now returning it.
