Everything's An Argument with Readings

If you download this e-book format, expect to be lost if you are assigned page numbers. Kindle app wont provide page numbers for this e-book, thus making it so confusing to find specific pages. The pages in the e-book version don't correspond with full pages similar to the book. An actual page from the book can be 3-4 pages or more in the kindle edition. I truly don't recommend the kindle edition e-book.

Don't rent ANY textbooks on Kindle for your children. This comes in a format that prevents them from seeing original page numbers and when their told to read pages x-xx my son has NO idea how to do this on the Kindle reader for PC. I'm trying to return this but fear that Amazon is going to screw me.

The material is a little weird. They take too long to simplify rhetorical arguments, and some of the essays for examples given weren't that great. I can't remember this one essay, I believe it was over trying to argue in a fair and balanced view without going offensive. More like an opposites attract for common goal type essay that fell flat. It just wasn't good, and the arguments of both side were too weak and unexplained. But that was my only complaint

The textbook was exactly as advertised. The description was as stated "Used". When I found out that my professor had changed the Edition on my prior to class starting. They were able to provide a refund for the textbook and exchange it for the most recent edition.

REALLY unimpressed with the condition of this book. I was surprised when I received this as a rental textbook (granted, it was about $35) and saw that the cover was beat up, ripped in several places. A few pages seemed loose, and the spine was cracked.I'm not quite half-way through my class this semester and the book straight-up ripped in half when I shifted it closer to me on my desk today! This is ridiculous, and they better not charge me for "damage," because the condition the book was in when it came to be isn't my fault. The book is now in two halves because of it's already-split spine. I can't believe it.

Cant say much about it ordered for a fall 19 college class. came quickly and was the right isbn. i do suggest checking and double checking the isbn there are several editions and i almost purchased the wrong one.

I bought this book for my writing / English class. I think I got a good deal on it compared to the book store. My only complaint is the book is very heavy and fragile. The pages tear very easily. The book can be written in, I assume they made it this way.

Book came used and you could definitely tell. After a little use it began to fall apart. The front came dirty. But i was able to get theough the class with it and it was a much better price than the schools book store.
