They couldn’t get better, they did.
I’ve had one since 2010 and I needed an upgrade, I wanted to keep the same as the original was so good. Great item, hopefully for another 15 yrs.

Not worth the money
As a reservist it’s not worth the money with more affordable versions available. It’s the second one I ordered (first one the strap stitching came apart after less than 6 months and was only used day to day)Purchased this one and within 2 months the stitching had come apart from the zip. Bags were only used as day to day use so not even weighed down heavy. Tried to put a report through less than a year of owning but heard nothing back. The bag itself I adore, just disappointed

Not what they used to be
Full screw gen in training was that they’d last a minimum of 10 years [insert afgan dit from a bloke who never left bastion] in actual fact the thing looked battered after 6 months. Granted it’s had a short but hard life. I expected better. Actual robustness doesn’t match up with what i’d heard. Also you can’t take the plastic bit out the back so you can’t roll it up to double fist it into your bergen so it had to go.
