After 5 months of casual use, the latch split in two. I checked my waterproof case this morning after having left the camera in it for safekeeping. The black latch had split almost in half. I superglued it as I need to use it tomorrow. After the latch dried, I clamped it closed again and it immediately split open again. I really liked the price and the filters. It is a great inexpensive solution for your underwater photo/video needs. Since the purchase was outside Amazon's return window, I emailed the seller the details and the photos, 4 days, no response or reply. This is not an item you should purchase. - Followed up with the seller, NO RESPONSE AS ALL. Stay Away from this product. I hope they see this.

This is a good product if you're looking for protection for your GoPro under water.It's great for swimming and regular shots underwater but if you are snorkeling etc. and need filters, this does not have the attachment for you to add a filter like the more expensive GoPro underwater housing.So, if you're going to use this for basic underwater use, it's GREAT. Beyond that, you may be forced to invest in the more expensive product.

Didn't know what to expect as this was my first Go-Pro camera purchase. I wanted a case that was waterproof and this case does not disappoint! I would recommend this case to anyone wanting to upgrade. Works beautifully!

Great case. Works well under water. I would not get it with all the filters, thought, unless diving very deep. I’m not sure how they work in the above case, but for snorkeling they were pretty useless.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Great alternative to the $50 OEM GoPro Hard Case for the Hero8. Used it cliff jumping and it held up. I attached the gopro floaty door to the back of it and it’s a great combo.

I purchased this item to use with my gopro hero 8 in prep for a trip to St. John, USVI. Worked exactly as stated, never a leak, held up very well through a week of daily snorkeling. Would purchase again if ever needed. Contacted company about filters for the gopro that can be used on this body, they replied quickly with a link to where I could get filters that fit the case. Excellent service and product!

this case is really hard to close when you put those plastic lens protectors on the front camera and rear screen but that tells you it’s secure and waterproof. I haven’t tested it underwater yet but I’m using it for Airsoft so I just need impact protection is all. Thumbs up for me!

gopro 7 can be used under water, but im not confident as it is expensive cam. bought this case. yes it does the jobs as it said
