Eight O'Clock Whole Bean Coffee, Hazelnut, 33 Ounce (Pack of 1)

This is a delicious whole bean coffee that I was unable to find in my grocery store. My wife prefers a flavored bean and it is difficult to find a good, inexpensive, one in the store. I went searching for one on Amazon because I buy so much else on here so I figured I would try it out. Upon opening of the bag I was greeted with a delicious aroma that almost made me grab a handful of the beans and start eating them. The brewed cup was amazing. I use a basic black & decker grinder for 10 seconds to get a nice small ground that works well in my coffee maker. The flavor if the hazelnut is good without being over powering. I enjoyed this cup black and very much enjoyed it. This is a medium roast that strikes a nice flavor balance without being too strong but still dark enough to let you know you were drinking coffee. Will buy again and may explore other flavors as a result of the positive results with this one.

This was a surprise. Normally I mix my Hazelnut coffee in equal parts with regular coffee so the hazelnut flavor is not so strong.... Enter 8 O’clock HazelNOT coffee. I don’t have to use any regular coffee at all. The flavor is so subtle that I can barely smell the hazelnut right after grinding. I can tell there is a Hazelnut tinge to the taste, but if you’r not looking for it you might miss it completely. You might also miss the coffee taste too. It has a taste, I’m just not sure what it is. It’s not bitter or burnt, it just isn’t. I like it so much that I can’t wait to order it again. Too bad is doesn’t come in even bigger sizes. 33 oz is just not big enough. Update: I'm on my 4th bag.

This is my standard go to coffee. Sometimes I get the italian brand on sale and yearn for this. Can you pay more and get fancy better coffee? Sure. Does this do the job at a good price? Absolutely. Further more I find that other hazelnut coffees over flavor. I find this to be the right balance of hazelnut to coffee flavor.

Great coffee, great flavor...just don't get the SF brand. I got this one and the SF brand, same flavor and the SF brand tastes like dirt. It is bad. Trust me, get this one, you won't be disappointed. The 8 O'clock brand coffee is delicious.

I was a little hesitant about buying coffee online but prices in the stores have been going up, up, up! So when I found Amazon not only sold coffee, and my favorite eight o'clock hazelnut, and Columbian at prices less than I was paying and if I joined Subscribe&Save even a lower price I thought, "whats the gimmick? Is it almost out of date?" Well since my first order in May of 2011 I have re-ordered 10 times and have told 3 of my friends that are also ordering from Amazon their favorite coffees, and yes they all have been pleased. Subscribe and save is not limited to coffee I am planning on increasing my purchases and just want to say "try it you'll like it!" Thank you Amazon!!! Keep up the good work.

Having retired on Maui Hawaii, my wife and me enjoyed the Hawaiian Coffee Blends containing Hazelnut flavoring sold by Costco, on Maui. That Blend and other's from the Islands after many weeks of drinking always began to overwhelm our desire of Hazelnut flavoring. o over come this we began mixing our old well excepted UBand Coffee in equal parts to the hazelnut finding a great tasting coffee that always remained our favorite and our stateside visitors too. Our older years are now being enjoyed on the central Oregon Coast and finding the Hawaiian Hazelnut Blend Coffee costing from $20 to $30 per pound, which we consider excessive. Then someone suggested checking our Amazon, which we did with complete satisfaction acquiring the 3 3 oz Whole Bean Eight O'Clock Hazelnut Coffee for less than $15.00 for 2 pounds. Four heaping Tablespoons full of beans into the top of out common coffee bean grinder and grind for about 10-12seconds produces a awesome 12 cup pot of Hazelnut hint of great coffee. A match of our efforts on Maui years ago.

I used to buy this coffee in k-cups, but felt it was very expensive for how many i used each week. Each bag of ground coffee lasts me 2 months, and it is kind of a fun thing to grind your own (its always fresh... I keep enough for 1 week in an airtight container.) The flavor is great, the only thing is I wish the hazelnut flavor was a bit more prominent (it could just be me.) It's priced well, so get it and try for yourself. I think you will enjoy it.
