We are not familiar with the straws, so it's not clear. We guess the size should be similar to the size of a 2ml cryotube, which has a diameter of 12.5mm and a height of 48mm.

Worked well for holding liquid nitrogen.

It was a hot day and I needed to freeze some bushings for heavy equipment repair. This container worked like a charm. Very pleased with results.

Would not recommend to store in a medical office setting

Do not recommend. We have had our medical gas company come out and fill this tank 3 different times and each time the liquid nitrogen is evaporating out with in a couple hours.
