Dynomax Ultra Flo 17233 Exhaust Muffler for Ford F-150

Had it professionally installed for $150.00..this is a hugh quality quiet muffler. If you want performance rumble this is not the one you need.

Sounds really good cold start. It has the rumble I was looking for then. But to drive it you can barely hear it. If you give it a little rev and your behind it it doesn’t sound bad either. I’m hoping as it gets worn in it will get a little bit louder. I had a Flowmaster 40 on my old truck (2011 Silverado) but didn’t want my new 2019 Silverado to be as loud. So it depends on what exactly your looking for. If your looking for loud and aggressive, this muffler is not for you. If your looking for a little rumble, this is for you.

IT sounded as though the DEVIL himself is riding down the road with me. LOVE THIS MUFFLER... took my TAHOE from wimpy soccer mom sounding putt putt... to a DEMONIC FIRE BREATHING DEATH MOBILE... above 4 thousand rpm's it eviscerates organs of any people standing on the sidewalk as I go by. Yet mellow sounding in the cab of the Tahoe. ok.... Seriously. this is a great muffler and stainless steel, it will last the life of the truck. it's got a mellow bellow till you put your foot in it then it comes alive. definitely feel more low-end torque... mileage, well I will have to cut my foot of so I can get better mileage cause all I want to do is floor the damn thing so I can get my fix for the day. over and over and over...........again!

Loves that it was a simple install, that took a muffler shop less than 30 mins to get it on my f150 5.0 . Did t sounds as loud as I thought it would but definitely alot less exhausts stress on the system with the easier flow of cfm's. Highly recommend you take the resonator off as well for a little more ummpff. Great value and good muffler.

Welds are trash and I recieved it with black fingerprints all over it. Box was damaged upon arrival as well. Did not fit my 2012 Silverado (4.8l) like it said, I had to get reducers. Sounds decent, a lot louder than I was led to believe by the reviews. Drones on the interstate (around 1600 RPM at 80 mph). I do a lot of driving and it gets annoying pretty quick.

Like most of my Amazon orders; I recieved this order ahead of time and in good shape. My truck does have a better sound now. Sounds good and not too loud from idle to about 2500 RPM. When you step on it; It sounds REALLY good! Not sure that I am getting more performace as I have only had it installed for about a week now. Seat of the pants...maybe some. I do hope I get some MPG benefit by vertue of less restriction and a new K&N air filter. That has not been the case in town according to the trucks computer. Probably because I have had my foot in it more just to hear that Hemi go! Overall, I am happy with it.

At first I was going to buy Borla or Magnaflow for my 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 truck. Now I am so glad that I decided to get a Dynomax 17233 Ultraflo welded muffler. My truck sounds very good and has a nice deep tone which is not too loud and annoying. I was also worried about any drones but it's very minimal and you could barely hear it. As far as performance wise, I think it feels a little more peppier than when I had the stock muffler on.

The Dynomax website gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. It even gave me an idea of what the muffler will sound like. Muffler is quiet at idle which is what you would like to see but when you start moving, there is a nice, not menacing, rumble. As for the muffler's ability to help my mileage, I hope it does but I am not expecting to notice it. First off, on an older truck, a '03 Dodge Ram 2500 with 186K miles, I may not even see it. Because of the muffler design, however, I do believe that I get better performance. There seems to be a little bit more pep in the old girl these days.

Just fitted the two units for my MOT and they are NOT made from stainless steel. Pissed off as lm not able to return. Don’t buy it!!
