A320
I purchased these to use in the A320/321. I have used both the A20 and A30 headset and find this to be typical Bose quality. I have found these fantastic and comfortable for long flights. The A320/321 is relatively quiet but I was having trouble hearing radio calls with the ship set Telex 750. Unless the other pilot also has a noise canceling headset I don't turn the noise canceling on and it is still quiet. I find the medium setting to be the sweet spot for the A320/321. Low seems to pipe in outside noise and it seems louder than with the noise canceling off. The carrying case protects the headset well and had plenty of room for extra batteries.

Lightweight and comfortable
Worth every penny! This high-quality, lightweight headset is a must for any airline flightdeck. It's so comfortable and light that I forget I'm wearing it. Mic is reversible from left to right depending which seat you occupy. I've had the headset for 4 months now and the batteries are still going strong. Noise cancellation has three settings which helps with how much ambient noise you're comfortable with. Highly recommended.

Not a head vice, no ear pain from glasses
Best if you wear glasses and care about your hearing. Other pilot can be deaf and have their speaker cranked and I’m happy as can be. I wear these for an entire transcon with no problem, the over the ear version gave me a headache after a couple hours. (Airbus adapter version)

Lacks a better case
Audio quality is great, as well as noise cancelling, the mic, pretty much everything related to how it works. What it lacks is a better case, since it doesn’t have a premade structure to hold it in place it just sits however you fit it, and your cables start to warp and tangle after some use. It also causes the grey part over your ear that shows the logo to scratch a lot, specially since it is made from a scratch-able material, so that piece is not durable and looks even a bit ugly under a year of use.

Light and well built but fit is highly personal preference
I have 5000 hours of A20 time and I really like that model. It fits me well and I find it comfortable enough. I bought the pro flight to lighten my flight bag and eliminate the adapter box so I can keep the A20 just for GA. I got this with the airbus 5 pin plug. Most crews here use headsets above 18 and I have about 50 hours on this one so far. The pro flight is well built and light weight but I just don’t love the in ear style. It’s a highly personal preference. Air pod pros fit me very well but I haven’t found a stock ear piece that seemed quite right with these. I really miss volume controls. Even at the lowest ship setting I find the radios slightly too loud at the gate which is annoying. I guess that’s a problem that may fix with age! Next I’m not impressed with the case at all. This zipper hangs up in the seam and is annoying to close. I know these are picky critiques but it is $1200 with huge profit margins. I like Bose, their service department has treated me well over the years but I’d give this headset a B-. I’ll keep it but I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

A game changer
Fantastic, several levels of ANR although the passive is more than sufficient for most operations. With the ANR set to max you cannot hear the engines from the flight deck of an A319/20/21 which made the first approach interesting. I was hoping to escape batteries altogether, but it does not seem like this unit will pull power from the XLR on an Airbus. This headset is all-day wearable.

Extra Information About the Headset
Using this headset for one month already, in B777 acfts. Very light, I use it during long range flights. Many people have been talking about feeling uncomfortable with the earphones after a long time, it was not my case. The headset doesn't fall if you move your head. Noise canceling is really good, B777 is quite noisy..so it helps a lot. The XLR 5 pin is perfect, battery is not required. The hard case is a little bit big but there's no way to be smaller. It's possible change the microfone from left to right. The Bluetooth is very good, combined with the noise canceling gives you a fantastic sound quality. And even with the noise canceling on, I can still hear the other pilot without his headset.

Invest for your ears
Noise cancelling is so good. I use it on the E2. Very much needed. Nice to have the Bluetooth function

Mic Boom stopped working mid flight.
Worked well for the first flight. Second flight the boom mic stopped working during the pushback. Had to use Aircraft book to transmit. Quickly swapped them out for the aircraft headset to resume the flight.
