Politically Correct Bedtime Stories by James Finn Garner (1997-11-21)

When we bought our first copy of this book many years ago, shortly after it was first released, it seemed pretty outrageous. When our son grew up, he enjoyed it so much that he passed it along to a friend, then had us track down another copy for him to keep. As we re-read it, we see how this was a book written before its time. Its politically correct way of thinking has become strangely normal in today's society.

If you have ever seen the memes about this book, oh yes sir, this book is what it is. It's like wow this is actually a book. It's kind of dumb but at the same time why not? Weird twist to your typical bedtime stories.

Someone stole the original book I had from me so it was a replacement but it is exactly what I expected sarcasm and it’s finest

I thought the book would be more humorous than the first three stories have indicated. I don't know if I will use my precious time to read any more.

Everyone with children should own this. I mean, the kids wont' notice any difference, so you might as well have fun.

I got this book as a gift for a friend, so she could enjoy how ridiculous these childhood stories are when you make them politically correct. It's a joy to read!

This book is hilarious and at least an hours worth of fun

I was hunting for this book as a gift. It was in excellent shape. If it was ever read, it was gently read. Dust cover is in perfect shape too. The book arrived quicker than I expected.Thanks Sunnyvale Bookstore

Hilarious

This book is hilarious and it will have you laughing for hours! Although the stories are short, they are very enjoyable and would appeal to anyone.I am so glad i purchased this book, especially as it is so cheap. I highly recommend it and it could be a perfect present for someone!!!!

This is a great book if you need to get your head around politically correct jargon! Our much-loved fairytales get a P.C. makeover and turn the well-worn stereotypes on their head.Once you have deciphered the P.C. lexis, then you will find this funny and ironic. Guaranteed to put a smirk on the face!

First heard the Cinderella story read by someone else and liked it so much I bought the book. Not disappointed with the rest.
