Posture Support (XSmall, Black)

Ordered this in X-Small even though the chart suggested I order a small, and I'm so glad I did because I can feel it starting to loosen up already after only a couple of weeks of wearing it. I wear it for about 30 mins a day, and although I'm not sure if it has actually improved my posture, it does feel like my back is straighter whenever I'm wearing it. However, I always have to do quite a bit of adjusting and smoothing out the sleeves after I put it on because it twists and rolls a lot as you slide it down your back (for me, the fabric never looks as smooth as it does in the picture). And I wouldn't wear it outside where you'll be seen in public, because although the packaging says that the band looks "fashionable" enough to wear over a sleeveless or short-sleeved top, it is NOT. Plus, it's still hard to move your shoulders while you're wearing it (possibly because I purposely ordered it in a smaller size, but I feel like if it were any larger, it wouldn't really do any good for my posture).

This is so comfortable I could wear it all day. It is challenging to get on correctly. Every time I do it myself, it never seems to be "right" but when I get help and someone straightens it for me -- that's when I forget I even have it on. I can feel my posture being improved. Worth the money. Just know unless you are way more coordinated than me it works better with a "buddy" to help you get it on right.

I envision that I'll stop using it. I haven't used it more than a few times. If you're doing anything other than sitting at a computer and typing, it keeps slipping off your shoulders. Annoying. It doesn't really pull your shoulders back but I guess just having it on does remind you to do so. That's something, I guess. I think it would work and I would use it if I spent a lot of time at the computer. I haven't tried other posture braces and am thinking of doing so.

This material is soft and feel like silk. It is hard to put in your arm, over and behind, still it mess up; overlap. Only one or twice it works and feel great with support otherwise, if you take it off, then you're in a mess. Again it struggle to put it on as instruction followed over and over but never get it right. Too much work. I think another person help you will be fine but never alone.

Really easy to use but takes a little while to get used to. Works well when you're sitting at the desk, crafting, on the computer anything where you want to keep your posture better. Simple to put on and gently pulls your shoulders back.

I'll admit, I have TERRIBLE posture & slouch at my desk most of the time! This leads to my shoulders hurting, headaches, etc. Hence my purchase of Str8-n-Up Posture Support.Pros: Fairly comfortable to wear. I have no problem doing my desk job while wearing this support. If wearing under a jacket or sweater, is very discreet.Cons: If you're wearing this at work, you're stuck with needing to wear a jacket or sweater to cover this support. Can get twisted up a bit & then you have to figure out how to get it all in sync again.Would I buy again: YesBottom Line: The directions say you only have to wear this for 30 minutes a day; I find that 30 minutes is not enough so I wear for about 45-60 minutes first thing in the morning & then another 45-60 minutes after lunch.

So I hesitated purchasing this because of the price. I am 5"8 130# thin upper body I purchased the X-Small. This works great for me. I love the stretchy material it doesn't dig into my arms like other ones. My concern is it may stretch out and not work as well over time. it is more appealing to wear then more medical looking ones. I have been doing PT and on a busy day my focus leaves my posture and then I am sore again. This helps make it mindless in maintaing my posture. I do like my other one I purchased on amazon that includes exercises. I think the exercises are the most effective and important part in feeling better in the long term. It is a tighter feel and I use it at home with exercise and I fell that one has made the most difference in getting rid of the pain. Posture Brace (small) Dr Joshua Dorsey.
