This book is for those of us who have come to appreciate the experience of digging, cleaning and cooking Pacific Razor Clams. Well written on a subject matter like a simple clam and looking forward to my next pilgrimage to the Oregon and Washington coasts. Great book!

This has been a banner year for razor clam digs in Washington state and my obession for chasing the clam lead me to this book. Great information, well written and an "easy read". I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the history of the Pacific Coast as well as anyone who wants to know more about this treasured and unique resource.

I loved this book! It is informative, funny, and just wonderful Having gone razor clamming in Washington State, it brought back great memories for me.

I recently moved to Ocean Shores, Washington from the Midwest. I knew razor clamming was a big deal in western Washington, but didn’t understand the depth or magnitude until I read this book. This book covers it all from the history of western Washington clamming, to razor clam biology, to current dilemmas facing the harvest and health of razor clams. Wonderfully written and easy to follow. Great book!
