A great value pair of little earbuds
The Mi basic earbuds come in a fairly small, simple package containing the earbuds in their charging case, an instruction manual, warranty booklet and 3 spare pairs of eartips (all different sizes so that you can adjust your earbuds to the size and shape of your ears). Surprisingly, despite there being the right shaped space left empty in the packaging, Xiaomi do not include a charging wire. As it happens, I have plenty of spare micro-USB cables already, but it still seems odd that one was not included. The whole setup, charging case and earbuds, are made of plastic, which isn’t particularly surprising, nor much of a problem. They are easily durable enough to survive drops and daily wear-and-tear. The charging case has pretty strong magnets inside to hold the earbuds in place, which is good in that the earbuds won’t fall out on their own, but does make it a little more difficult to get them out. It is still manageable though, so not something to worry about. The overall footprint of the product is small and discrete, meaning it’s easy to carry around in your pocket both due to the size and light weight. The case has a small light on the front on the outside that lights up when charging (red when charging and white when fully charged). An obvious cut Xiaomi have made to reduce the price of these is the micro-USB slot instead of USB-C. This isn’t the end of the world, as they do still charge reasonably quickly (a full charge in 1.5hrs according to Xiaomi), but not like they would with the USB-C port. USB-C would also allow reverse charging from an Android phone, but as it is you can’t. Another feature not present is wireless charging. This isn’t the end of the world or anything, but it is a nice feature to have with wireless earbuds. The Earbuds themselves should last around 4/4.5 hrs in use, with a claimed 150hr standby time (I haven’t tested this but it’s probably fairly accurate). The charging case is 300mAh and should provide an additional 3 charges, meaning with regular use you’re looking at a couple of days of use in a single charge, which isn’t bad, especially considering the price we’re talking about.Pairing is relatively fast — I’ve found that once out of the case it takes about 5 seconds. When the earbuds are placed in the charging case, they automatically turn off and disconnect; when they’re taken out, they automatically turn on and connect again. If you just take one out, it will solely connect, while the other is left off. If you then take the other out, it will sync and you’ll get audio through both.Connection range may be important to you and I can tell you that these have a decent range of about 10m. Obviously walls and other interceptors make a difference to this but, as long as you’re reasonably close to your phone or other Bluetooth device, you should be fine.Speaking of the audio, the quality and clarity of music is surprisingly good — better even than some of the slightly higher priced products, although not quite that of high-end ones. For something so small, they pack okay bass. It’s not exceptional, but I’d say it’s definitely above average for true wireless earbuds. Videos have a very slight delay — enough to notice, but not enough that I can’t stand it. More of a slight annoyance than deciding factor, as many Bluetooth devices show similar. In ear, they are very comfortable. This isn’t due to any padding or anything, it’s just because of how lightweight they are. You’re not going to forget they’re there, but you’re not going to mind them being there at all. I use the standard ear tip size preinstalled on the earbuds and they stay snuggly in my ears. I never fear them falling out, as they’re a good shape and stay in place. You can of course change the ear tips to the larger or smaller ones that are included in the box if you’re not happy with the regular ones.On each earbud is a physical button that controls pausing and playing. This is another obvious area where Xiaomi have cut down to make these so cheap. A physical button is good in that you don’t have to fear accidental touches like with gesture based interaction but it is sometimes a bit annoying if you end up altering the sitting position of the buds in your ears when pressing the button. This button can only be used for pause and play — so no skip track or volume change unfortunately. This is a fairly major downside because it would have been so easy for Xiaomi to change it. There is one other use for the button and that is to manually turn them off, but this isn’t really that useful, as the earbuds automatically turn off when put back in that charging case. All in all, they're great value in my opinion.

For the price, worth it.
These need to be run in to sound good. So, every place you care to look will say that running in headphones is a myth, and that it’s been tested to death, but these, on day one, have no bass at all and highs that sound like banging ladles on a saucepan on each ear. 24h of D&B at basically full volume loosens them up, tones down the ice-pick treble and makes them... perfectly acceptable.Fit-wise, they fit really nice, as good as any in-ears. The look/style is sleek, and in my opinion they are the among the best looking of their type. They seem to block out less background noise than other in-ears. Not bad, but notable.Features? Not really. Basic by name, basic by nature. Play pause is about it, no volume etc.Really loud, too loud probably. Be aware of that of your gifting them to a child or chav. The batteries last for ages, 4h for me per charge, with quick charging back up from the case, really good.Case is great, simple plastic, just a red charging light. Snaps closed reassuringly, perfect.Sound quality? Ok. Acceptable. Nice. Bit flat. Doesn’t give you the tingles or the feels. Doesn’t make you want to clear your diary, won’t make you cry.Overall, for £20, an absolute steal. If you have big money for a better brand, go nuts, but if you want in on the true-wireless thing and aren’t an aspiring Audiophile, these are for you.But run them in for a bit before you judge them.

You get what you pay for - Decent sound quality
They arrived in a simple packaging and are neatly packed in a small plastic container which is then also use to store and charge them. The sound quality is fine but there is some struggle with connecting them to the iphone. Once you connect they sometimes work solo or together which is quite an irritant. Bought them for the walk and they serve their purpose.Plus -Unmatched value -Great sound quality -Four-hour battery life -IPX4 sweatproof designImprovement Area-Case charges over Micro-USB

Excellent battery life
Overall I am pleased with these earbuds.Good value for money although there are better sound quality bluetooth headphones/buds in this price range. The sound quality isn't bad, but it is only average and lacks depth. What has really impressed me is the battery life. I wear one bud whilst I am working listening to the radio. So far one bud lasts for my entire 4 hour shift. Although the volume does start to fade after around 3 hours of continuous use.I would recommend them on battery life.

Pretty good but fragile
This product is actually pretty good but they are too fragile so you have to take car of them,I have dropped one of them and now that one doesn't work,so I have to buy a new one if you want both of them working

Not my favourite Xiaomi
I am absolutely in love with Xiaomi brand, but these earbuds have disappointed me. While they look nice, its really uncomfortable to wear them, and the sound quality is really poor.If you are looking for cheap earbuds regardless of high quality, it will suit, but in my case, I was looking for something better. But to be honest, for the price paid, it's not fair what I was expecting to get for.

Good sound but fall out when running
Great sound and good quality for the price but I cannot get them to stay in my ear when running (primary reason for buying). They come with three bud sizes and none work. It may be my ears, although I have used airpods in the past and there was no problem.
