I wanted to create grommets in a cloth tote bag so i could add a chain wrap around shoulder strap. These are only for a single width of cloth, and they are the size of the grommets in a pair of Chuckies tennies, small. They would fit shoelaces perfectly, but the won't take much thickness of cloth. The tools supplied work well, kit is complete.

These grommets were very difficult to install in a double layer of sweatshirt fabric. I bought them hoping to save money on the Dritz ones which are more expensive but I've set them successfully. The Dritz grommets have a larger lip on the side that shows (almost double in width) so they grip the fabric much better. On all of our practice sets, these grommets would not grip the fabric well because the "lips" are too narrow and there were holes between the grommet and the fabric. Save yourself a headache, pay a little more, and go get the Dritz fashion grommets. I gave two stars only because maybe if our fabric was thinner, these would work well since they are lighter and narrower? I'm not sure, YMMV.

I use the grommets on my pants to attach my suspender clips. It looks more professional and is easy to use.

Good enough for small projects. Although I ended up smashing a couple of grommets flat,it is a pretty good item to use when needed - but I would not use for a super professionallooking outcome.

This is my first grommet set. I counted 54-55 silver grommets (my project needed 36), and it definitely looks like there are way more of the brass & black grommets (but equal amounts of silver & gold).The tools are fine, with the exception of the cutter. I'm working with thin, stretchy denim, and it wouldn't penetrate. I had to cut all the holes out myself. Considering trying to sharpen it or buying a different, nicer tool set.Overall, good for the price!

Product was easy to use. Cutter did not work as well as I had hoped.

Don’t waste energy, money, or time with this product.Everything about it is bad.The eyelets are jumbled up.It has no instructions.Tool doesn’t even work.Will not cut at all!I’ll be returning this.
