Left-handed threads but marked as right-handed.
My 15-year-old Ryobi weed eater School retainer bolt assembly is a left-handed thread. The original unit is wearing out so I ordered a pair of replacement retainer retainer bolt assemblies being careful as warned in the advertisement to verify I needed left-handed threads. I ordered the left-handed threads but the plastic head that the bolt inserts through is marked as if it is a right-handed thread. The arrow that indicates the direction it needs to go to be taken off is counterclockwise which is a right-handed marking. I just started using it today so I may be updating if I have issues like some of the other reviews that said the plastic head on the bolt has a tendency to crack around the bolt. I am disappointed though in the lack of quality control by this vendor.
