Finally, a Hole Punch That Doesn’t Drive Me Crazy
I grabbed this hole punch because my old one was driving me crazy. It kept jamming and the holes were always just a little off, which kind of defeats the whole point of using binders. I use binders a lot for work stuff and travel planning, so I finally decided to upgrade. This Swingline has been way better. It feels solid and doesn’t scoot around the second you start pressing down. It goes through a stack of pages without me having to put my whole body weight on it. The adjustable two‑ or three‑hole setup is actually useful, and the paper guide keeps everything lined up so I’m not constantly re‑punching crooked pages. The little tray that catches the paper bits is nice too — no more confetti all over my desk. It is a bit heavier than the cheap ones, but honestly that’s part of why I like it. It stays put and just works. Nothing fancy, nothing annoying — just a reliable tool that makes my home office a little less frustrating.

does a good job! I'm pleased with this hole puncher
I've used this hole punch for a few weeks now. It's very well made and high quality and it cuts the paper well. It goes through a few pieces of paper with ease but if you put in 10 you really have to press it down hard. (I've noticed when it's closer to 10 pages you have to stand up to press the handle down instead of remaining in your chair) but if you use 8 or less sitting down is fine and it still works well. I cannot review it for it's 2 hole adjustment setting as I haven't adjusted it or used the 2 hole function. I will say if I did want to use it for its 2 hole setting it should have came with directions on how to readjust it. Something that I really like is the fact that it comes with a tray to catch all of the little paper circles. It's easy to change and clean out and it's not something you have to clean out frequently unless you hole punch a lot of papers every day. It's heavy duty and not cheaply made~! It definitely has some weight to it which is nice because you can use it as a paper weight as well. all in all I would recommend it and I enjoy using it to organize my work and school papers!

Seems like a very fine product to me.
This is exactly what I wanted. Having read some of the other reviews, I generally agree with some of the more important points. Yes, on about 10 sheets is all you want to punch at once. In fact, I think the sweet spot is about 7 for ease of one hand punching. I won't address the adjust ability of the hole areas, as I had no intention of adjusting them now, and probably, never. It's nice to know they can be adjusted however. I punched about 250 sheets today, and had no problems at all. Some mentioned that the cover that captures the punch chips could come undone unexpectedly. It appears to be solid to me. Some complained that the holes were too close to the edge. They seemed fine to me. Considering that the results had to fit into a folder with tabular posts (you know, the kind that the metal slide through the hole of the paper, then eventually into a reinforcement piece of the folder, then bent down to hold everything in place), had the holes been more to the right, it's possible the reading material would have been covered by the center of the folder when opening it. So for my use, they are perfectly placed. One thing I noticed that probably most people who use things like this probably already knows. When you slide in the paper for punching, there is about 1/16th or so of "play" in the paper. That is, you can slide the paper slight up to the top or slightly down to the bottom. I found that sliding to the bottom appears to be the best thing to do, as this matched up perfectly with prepunched dividers.

Swingline is the best
Works great! Heavy duty, solid construction. Bought for my desk at work so I don’t have to run out to the front office for the only hole punch available, every time I need to punch holes in something to put it in a binder.

Great for the price, but definitely not top of the line...
This is a good 3-hole punch for the price. It feels very heavy duty and comfortable to use, and without knowing anything else about it, you might assume that it's actually a lot better than it is. It seems like it should punch more pages at a time (than just 10), but 10 is actually about right. It does about 8-9 with ease. My biggest gripe with this hole punch is the number of times you can punch before you have to empty the "dot tray". Although older hole punches I've owned had quite a lot of dot storage, this one needs to be emptied quite frequently. It's easy to do, but it's just so often that it's kind of annoying. It also doesn't give you much warning before it gets full, and you find yourself trying to wrestle papers out of the puncher because there are too many dots jamming things up. Still, for $7-8, this is not bad at all. If you do a ton of hole punching, you should probably get something a little better, but this will suffice for most people.

Doesn’t fit A4 size paper. Not suitable for Australian market
I ordered this adjustable hole puncher with high hopes but it doesn’t fit A4 size paper which is the standard paper size in Australia. Not suitable for Australian market. I have returned it.

Not for A4 size paper
Had to return it as I wanted something for A4 papers. The A4 paper won’t go in the punch machine as the machine has borders at the end. This is not for A4 size paper but I never found this information in the description.
