Great Candle
I have found the Village candles last longer, burn cleaner and smell better than other candles I have tried. The variety of scents is great, there's one for every season or mood.

Smells Wonderful!
First candle arrived melted all over. Two days later I had a replacement in perfect condition. Smells just like fresh lemons. Love it !

I liked the jar that the candle comes in but the fragrance is not as lemony as expected. You almost need to have a long match or fireplace lighter to light the two wicks.

Great smell
Doesn’t smoke like the leading brand and has a nice strong lemon scent. I think it lasts as long as the leading one too! Perfect for the kitchen.

Good but arrived distorted from melting in transit
The candle smells great and seems to be of good quality but it shipped on its side and it was so hot that the candle melted in an odd shape inside the jar. As a result, the wick was encapsulated in the wax and I had to melt down the whole candle and straighten the wick myself.

Candle Melted, Unusable
Unsure what the shipping conditions were, but the candle came completely unusable. Candle melted and re-hardened on the side of the jar, and considering this was shipped and received in mid-February, not sure how this happened in terms of temperature.Will likely not be purchasing from this brand online again. Please be aware this may happen to your orders as well.

Wenn man nach Yankee Candles sucht und in der Suche jede 2. Kerze eine Village Candle ist, musste der Fehlkauf ja irgendwann mal passieren.Ich habe die Kerze behalten, weil ich sie doch gerne testen wollte.Der Duft ist unerträglich. Ich dachte erst, an ein verschmortes Kabel oder sowas und habe es gar nicht auf die Kerze zurückgeführt, da es nicht annähernd an Zitrone oder wenigstens Wachs erinnerte.Nach einer Weile bekamen wir beide Atembeschwerden und Husten.Ich werde zukünftig ganz genau aufpassen.Nicht zu empfehlen

Just okay
Other Village Candle scents are great, but this one had a very synthetic lemon aroma. Will be glad when this one is burnt down, will buy a different scent. They last, and they burn clean, very good company. I just hated this specific one. Roomie likes it, tho, so I could could just be a grumpy old fart.
