this product seems to work well so far.It is to me alittle complicated but once set up it is keeping a very wet basement dryer....

Does it have automatic shutoff based on desired humidity target?

Our models do have a humidity level setting which will shut off the unit once that level has been reached. The unit will automatically turn on once the humidity level rises.

What size drain hose do this dehumidifier uses?

According to info on listing it is a 16.4 foot drain hose included with the unit. You will not have to buy another unless you need to add it for drainiage. I simply use the bucket system which shuts off automatically when it is full. If you have lots of humidity/water you may want to use the hose for continuous reduction.
