Montessori at Home Guide: A Short Guide to a Practical Montessori Homeschool for Children Ages 2-6 Paperback – June 11, 2015

My daughter goes to a pre-school that follows the Reggio system and I think that is great however I wanted to engage with her more on an educational level at home and found that the structured Montessori system to be perfect to be able to do so. There is a ton of information on the net and that is problem, it is overwhelming! It has taken me 1.5 years since I first thought of setting up a Montessori area for my daughter and have finally taken the next steps thanks to this little book. It has all the information needed to start a Montessori system at home for your little one. I did skip through the pages that talk about how great kids and what Montessori is (anyone buying this book will already know that lol). In conclusion great book. 5 stars!

I received it tonight and finished it tonight. It is a great book for any parents who want to learn more about Montessori and how to change little things on our daily routine to help our child through their learning process.

Dr. Montessori was a pioneer in education for children of all ages, starting at 2-3 years old. This book is a kind of "How-to" for using Dr. Montessori's educational methods in the home, even before a child is mature enough to be enrolled in a Montessori School.

I found it good but extremely simple ideas to the point that it is almost nonsense to me that the authors took their time to write a book when most of the things they included there is taken out from the internet. It is easier to write an article online and add the links of all those websites so they could perhaps add more pictures of the toys they advise us to use, after all thats why I bought the book, so I could enrich my experience with their ideas (many of the toys they talk about there is only a writen description of it, so I had no clue what they were, I had to do my own research on amazon and pinterest!)

Short, only 74 pages. For those who have already begun a journey into Montessori, or have an education background, it is a bit basic. But a good beginner book to get your feet wet. Also a great idea for a quick read for anyone in the family who has questions about what Montessori is and what you are working to accomplish at home. Will probably give to grandparents so they can increase their understanding of the method.

Un libro con cuestiones básicas sobre el inicio en el Homeschool Montessori. No lo recomiendo para alguien que ya tiene conocimiento en el tema porque es muy sencillo. Corto y de fácil lectura.

A great introduction to Montessori and how to apply it at home for 2 to 6 year olds. A short read that gets right to the point without all the waffle! Just what I needed as we start our Montessori at Home journey.

Es muy teórico, no lo que buscaba...no hay muchos ejercicios y el enfoque que dan sobre la enseñanza en casa de un niño preescolar, la veo muy estricta.
