I have two dogs, a female 45 pound pitbull and a male 90 pound Kangal. I trained both dogs by taking them to the boundary and letting the collar shock them and then returning them back inside the safe zone. In the beginning, both dogs responded to the shock and wouldn't leave the safe zone. But, after a month or two, my Kangal started leaving the boundaries and looking totally comfortable with getting shocked over and over outside the boundaries. So, finally, after repeated times of my Kangal leaving the boundaries and hearing him get shocked, I decided to try putting both collars on my bare skin, first with the silicone covers on and then with them off. With the silicone covers on, the level 6 shock felt like someone tickling my arm with a feather. When I took the silicone covers off and held the bare metal probes against my arm, the black collar shocked me a little stronger than the white collar, but it still was only a mild discomfort. The level 6 shock should be a level 1 or 2, because it just felt like someone pushing a metal rod into my arm without breaking the skin and moving it side to side. It's not comfortable, but it's definitely not something that shocks you and makes you want to get it off your skin. I had no problem wearing it the 2 seconds before it resets. So, unless both of the collars I bought are both malfunctioning, I would say that this product is super weak and should only be used for small to medium size dogs with short hair. Otherwise, you're going to waste your money getting this for a larger dog. My Kangal doesn't even respond when it shocks him.

This wireless fence was very much needed with our rambunctious rescue! It's very easy to set up and training is going well. Our dog is responding perfectly to the vibration and has not required using the shock as of yet.

This is a great idea, but NOT a good product for a pet owner who lives in the woods. We have a big lawn but lots of trees directly by our house and it causes the GPS signal to disconnect and my dog is able to escape his perimeter by leaving through the trees. I tried to return but it’s past the return window. If you live in an area with minimal trees this might work for you.

Comparing this to other GPS collars we have tried. Things I like; the collar is much more robust. I like not having to recenter everyday and the battery life is much better.Things I don't like; not sure the signal is very solid. I hear the collars beeping at times when the dog is roaming the property, even in the open areas. So the main function may not be working as needed.

This is working perfectly for my Black German Shepherd. We have an acreage but she can be a wander and this is keeping her home. I only have it on the beeping and vibrate mode and works great. I will be buying one for the other pup too.

I bought 2 of these collars on the Amazon Prime day deal. There are multiple problems with both collars and I will be returning both. I can put both collars in one hand and only one of them gets a GPS signal. This can take 3-5min every time the dog goes outside. This can be a major pain in the butt if you have to stand outside every time you let the dog out. I also have a garage attached to the house. Whenever the dog goes in the garage the GPS is lost and will take 3-5min to gain a signal. In that time period the dogs can go anywhere they want, and 5min is a long time for the dog to escape. On day two the shock and beep function stopped working. I have the collar outside the “safe zone” only for the collar to blink red. Yesterday it would do the shock and beeping but today it all stopped. I have it set to max setting like the manual says to do. Even the tool they sent shows that no shock is being applied.

Just received my product. We are in the process of setting both collars up now. So far so good!

This product workes very well and I got great results...what I had hoped for. Was very easy to figure out strat from the box. It came with wverything I needed to use the product. However I only gave it a 3 star because of the poor design flaw. It didnt make it 2 weeks before my dog broke the box from the collar with his leash. Also immediatly I ran into issues with the prongs sliding thru the collar holes. So i cleverley cut a small piece from the reflecting collar for added support. Pictures available. The collar will still beep an vibrate but wire came un attached so no longer will shock. I had to tape it together. Can be used on my less rambuncious dogs but it is needed for the shock with my much more rowdy guy. Would have lasted longer if the collar wud have passed through the front of the box.
