This worked great for placing my film; it was much better than the tools that come with the film. Very much worth it! Once I was done, I was able to use the bottle for a refillable all-purpose cleaner too, so that's nice!

I had 3 large sliding glass doors to do. Choose the least seen first to try to become better at the installation. 1 was good, the second one better and the 3rd was a perfect installation. On the first one, I had some bubbles that would not leave. After 3 days of trying to get the water out, I used a needlepoint to just poke the film and let the water out. The issue was on the first window I used too much soap and did not cut the film prior to putting it up. All in all, it was worth me doing it. I did not want to do it but could not get anyone to do it for a reasonable price. They were like 4 Xs more than the $140 I paid for the film.

The tools are durable, easy to use, the size is accurate and is a good value for the money.

Blades were not as sharp as I would have wanted. It got the job done but I wish my edge cuts could have been cleaner and had the blades been sharp enough they would have.

We used these to help apply window-darkening film to a paned window up high on our bedroom wall. It was perfect, had everything we needed to make application quick and easy. We pre-cut the film but some pieces still needed trimming, so it was great to have the little knife to keep in my pocket while I was up on the ladder. And the smoothing tools were awesome. I'm keeping this in the tool chest, I'm sure it will come in handy again!

This kit is cheap, but has great value. I bought it to install a blackout film on my bedroom windows, and I used every tool in the kit. The bottle doesn't leak, and all the tools worked very well. I do wish the knife had a better handle, but it was fine and still easy to use.
