A good product that consistently works
We just received this box of Dr. Killigan's, but we have been using the product for the past 2 years. I can't tell you that the moths have 100% disappeared, but the traps began working immediately. The first year they kept a lid on the problem. The next summer there were noticeably fewer moths, and this winter we have seen maybe one or two in the past 3 months. Accordingly, I would have to confess to a high level of satisfaction with the product.

The Absolute Best and we've tried them ALL - Updated
We are owned by 3 parrots. As anyone can tell you with parrots, you get pantry moths. It doesn't matter how clean you are, they arrive in bird seed. We've frozen the bird seed for upward of 3 months, and still, moths. Its just part of the price you pay for loving birds. We rent and our landlord hired a Professional Pest Control company to take care of another issue in the house left by the former tenant and we, as tenants, paid them on our own, to professionally treat for the moths. That lasted about 2 months. For reasons I can't figure out, the pantry moths, like mosquitoes, and other bugs, just love me, and bite me as well as infest the pantry and the bird area. So its important to keep them down to a minimum. We are able to do this easily and pretty inexpensively with Dr. Killigan's Premium Pantry Moth Traps With Pheromone Attractant, either the blue or black packages. We've bought both colors and they work equally well. Our latest purchase arrived yesterday, and I put them out and I know we have been successful for a few reasons. 1) All I'm seeing is the older gray moths 2) No juvenile moths at all - we have successfully interrupted the breeding cycle 3) I put these out and placed them where the sun would warm them and allow the scent to waft through the room and instead of being swarmed like in the past, there were very few moths going to the trap. I'm careful not to place in direct sunlight so I don't ruin the Pheromone Attractant or cause it to lose its effectiveness too soon. 4) I follow the directions as indicated in the little paper in the box. It really does help make with the effectiveness. If I could ask one thing it would be that these would be available as a Subscribe and Save item. I'm on a fixed income and I know others in the bird community that I've recommended these to are also. It would be helpful for those of us who use these as recommended, to be able to save a bit, and to be able to get auto delivery of these when its time to replace them. If you're reluctant about trying this brand, or you're thinking that you'll save a few bucks trying another brand that maybe has 7 traps and is a few dollars less, please save yourself the time and hassle. We made that mistake, and ended up throwing them away after following the directions step by step, and leaving them out for a month. They caught a few moths, but only a few, nothing at all like Dr. Killigan's. Then we did what we should have done in the first place. We ordered this product: Dr. Killigan's Premium Pantry Moth Traps With Pheromone Attractant | Safe, Non-Toxic with No Insecticides (6, Black Traps) With Dr. Killigan's our experience was as soon as we opened the box and pulled the protective covering off the trap, we were moth magnets once again. If you find this review helpful please click the Yes button below and Thank You. Update: August 2023 - We still have NOT seen one moth after all this time. We bought, dependent on the size of out living space - three 6 packs of this product: Dr. Killigan's Premium Pantry Moth Traps With Pheromone Attractant | Safe, Non-Toxic with No Insecticides (6, Black Traps) used them and I wrote my review above about the success. I just wanted to let everyone know that we're still moth-free, we still have birds and we couldn't be happier with Dr. Killigan's products. I also see that this product is now available as a Subscribe & Save item. That's a great thing. Ila in Maine

caught the first moths within 15 minutes!
I somehow got birdseed moths in my cockatiel food storage container. I am careful about bringing new food into the house -- I always freeze it for a week or two before opening -- but wherever the moths came from, it pretty quickly became an infestation. I was finding them floating dead in water dishes, crawling all over the cage bottoms, etc. They were starting to leave the room where I keep my birds and get into other parts of the house. So I had to do something. I'd previously tried another brand of moth trap, and it was good, but what I liked here was getting a 6-pack. These are individually sealed in foil envelopes so they will last until you open the envelopes. You don't have to use them all at once, in other words. The moth pheromone is mixed in with the adhesive rather than being in a little tablet, which is also something I like. (The little tablets from other brands are in a package together and once you open it, the pheromones start getting released. There is no saving one trap for another time.) I did not find the paper backing on the adhesive too difficult to remove. It stuck a little in one place but it honestly wasn't bad. Once you remove the paper adhesive, you just fold into a little triangle (see the official product image) and you are good to go. I have two of these open and operating right now in my bird room (which is just a medium-sized bedroom). I have them on opposite sides of the room and they are both attracting moths. I got the first couple of moths within 15 minutes and more bodies are accumulating (I'm at about 10 right now and it hasn't even been 24 hours). What's great about the pheromone being in with the adhesive is that the moths aren't attracted to one particular spot, but can stick anywhere. (With the previous brand I tried, there were definitely more carcasses around the little tablet. They are more spread out with this brand.) As with any moth trap, I'm glad here that it is using pheromones instead of synthetic chemicals (don't want to irritate my birds' delicate respiratory systems). Also because of this, it is safe to throw away and send to the landfill, and these are paperboard so they're biodegradable. For good moth control, I find freezing bird seed when you bring it home, keeping it in airtight containers after freezing, and good vacuuming and paper-changing (at the bottom of the cage) habits are helpful in addition to these traps. I also throw out my vacuum cleaner bag after each use (I buy them in bulk here on Amazon). Please note, these traps only catch the males, so you will still see females for awhile, but if you can keep them from breeding, the population will decrease over time. I intend to keep putting out traps indefinitely because that is way better than cyclic moth infestations. Anyway, these traps are effective and easy to use and I definitely recommend them if you have a birdseed moth problem.

Gets the job done
Honestly one of the best products we've used to get rid of this moth infestation we have; we got rid of anything infested first and we set up the traps which fits basically anywhere. Everyday after that we saw less and less moths and larvae. For the past week, since about a month ago, we have seen no larvae. It’s effective, sticky, and really easy to install. So far its been durable. For the price point, I would totally buy it again.

Great product and it works!
This product really does take care of your pantry moth problem! As soon as you open the packages, they really do come out of nowhere and they are drawn to the Scent! Highly recommend, haven't seen moths in days

Excelente producto

This is an efficient and easy way to get rid of pantry moths. Even when I thought they had gone I found 10 more male moths stuck inside the next morning. No more since but the product still sits on the work top in case. So far no more moths! Excellent product.
