I had got another Telsin remote for Christmas a couple of years ago, only to find out that my Go-Pro model was not supported by it. Then when I upgraded my go-Pro to Hero 10 Black I found out that the remote I had would not support that either.So I broke down and bought this remote.While that part was frustrating, the remote itself works great. It pairs great and the control is easy to use. I use my go-pro on my head while waterfowl hunting and in the past it has always been frustrating not to know if I am recording or not, I am really looking forward to better control and monitoring (without draining my phone battery so much on BT) through the ease of this unit.

I bought one of these years ago, but lost the proprietary charge cable. That's my biggest gripe. Second, as you see in the photo, the sticker they put on the back is a massive pain to remove.Now for the good points. It takes seconds to pair, once it's paired, it connects every time you're near. And my near, that's within 100 meters, better than the 80 they promise. I tested it out, you can tell on the display when it loses connection. The second I walked into range, it instantly reconnected. When I'm recording myself riding by my GoPro for a shot, I can start it right when I get into where I want to start the clip, then stop it when I clear the camera. Way less footage to go through and store, saving quite a bit of time.You can switch through the modes, I mainly use it to start/stop recording and turn the camera on/off remotely. It's way easier than using your phone with the app, that takes several seconds to connect each time.

The media could not be loaded. The remote works well. After you pair it with gopro they work harmoniously. I mean, when you press ON button on the remote, it automatically turns on gopro aswell. All functions work well.The only downside is that if this remote is connected to the GoPro my iPhone won’t connect with my gopro simultaneously. This means that I have to temporarily disconnect my gopro with the remote and then connect it to my iphone to browse media on the app.A wristband that comes with this remote is very nice.All in all, I would recommend this remote to my friends.

So it was working not bad until I decided to take it to the pool. I was not swimming with it, just taking pictures and videos of the kids. It was maybe submerged couple inches under water for less than 10 seconds.Next thing I know the remote stops working. Than I start seeing water inside the remote. This is so disappointing, since item description clearly states waterproof, not water resistant.First red flag was no actual waterproof rating like IP65, etc. Second red flag, this is not official GoPro accessory. It stopped working in the middle of my vacation when I really needed it. If I knew it can't handle little tiny bit of water I would of never took it took it to the pool.I always look at positive in every situation. Since the seller lied in the description I'm going to return it for full refund. And now I actually found a better remote that also shows what format camera is shooting( 4k/30fps / 5.3k etc.).For that reason I give this product total of 1 star.

Used in conjunction with my Hero 11 installed on my motorcycle helmet. Allows for easy operation of the camera, monitoring of battery status, etc. Again, does the job and does it exceptionally well!

I was looking for a remote that would let me control my Go Pro without touching my Go Pro. Turns out that it works great for starting and stopping the Go Pro but all other features are not as convenient. Pairing was easy once you figure out that the device list on the go pro doesn't include this device but it pairs using one of the other devices that is listed.Wish there was a way to turn the go pro on from the remote...if the go pro shuts off, the remote can not turn the go pro back on...there are many controls on the go pro that are not on the remote and even if they were, it would be hard to operate. I'm usually moving (biking, skiing, sailing etc.) while using my go pro so I can't spend a lot time trying to figure out how to use the remote...I use it almost exclusively to turn the vidoe capture on and off...in that sense, it's over priced for what i use it for.

so, I used it and loved it a lot. as I can record anytime I want. I can hide it in the pocket and press record anytime I want. that's really interesting.
