Gorgeous art, ok story
Enjoyed this overall. It was certainly a bit weird and different from the usual superhero fare. Most of the art was gorgeous, really beautifully done detailed paintings with interesting layout and composition that fit into the scene. I love how I can look at the pages and notice something new over and over. The story was ok, but suffered from a few annoying things. I liked seeing Bucky kicking ass in space and working through his post-brainwashing in a different way. Didn't enjoy the severe case of insta-love he had going on with an alien princess. I don't buy Bucky being over Natasha yet. A friendship and a fling with this princess would've been fine, but not being suddenly deeply in love. Writing them as first met in a dream, soul mate types, when we'll probably never hear from her again after this story arc just felt cheap and thoughtless.

Multiple Buckys from different Timelines, Alien Princesses & much more!
The art is gorgeous & very intricate but a little distracting at times, especially since the writing feels a little excessive as well & can be a little confusing to follow. The story arc isn't bad & has some interesting ideas/moments but overall it didn't have that much emotional investment. I'd only really recommend this comic to die hard Marvel/Winter Soldier fans. & I'd also recommend it if you're a big fan of Quake/Daisy (Skye from Marvel's Agents of Shield) too, she is a standout character in the story & felt the most true to the character I've come to know.

Five Stars
One of the most excellent graphic novel series that I had ever read

Cool idea, clumsy execution
Jason Aarons neat end to original sin gets repurposed into Ales Kots space love story. Art is a sloppy homage to Tony Harris. These days the winter soldier prefers to kill with the weapon of boredom. 5 issues, ends on a cliff hanger and I couldn't tell you one thing that happened.

Beware
I bought this series expecting an action packed story with The Winter Soldier aka Bucky fighting monsters, aliens, etc. Instead I got some barely comprehensible drawn out romance peppered with pacifist violence and art that resembles a crappy LSD trip. If that's what you want, go for it. Otherwise, don't waste your money.Oh, and Old Loki is in here for some reason.

decent
Itโs a decent story. Something original that puts Bucky in outer space. The artwork is great as well. I may just read the next volume.

If you liked the previous series
Really think this should have been a 1 and not a 2 but maybe it's a question of taste. Hard to follow, a lot babbling conversations and I don't really care for this kind of art. If you liked the previous series, I can't imagine you will like this one. I consider it a waste of money, but again, maybe it's a matter of taste.

Entertaining story, beautiful art, different from most Marvel stories
I'm pretty biased because Bucky is one of my favourites, but I really liked this comic. I liked Ventolin, and Quake and how the story ends, I even felt sorry for the villain of the story. The art is really atmospheric, and some of the storyline seems really far out :D I can't really say cause it'll spoil the moment but you'll be there saying "Whaaaat?" when you see it. It's one I'll re-read for sure.At some point I'd like to see him shipped with Natasha again, or at least find his "Dot" that he was dating before his deployment during the second world war that led to his becoming the Winter Soldier under Hydra.

What is going on here?
Okay. I really enjoyed Ales Kot's very quirky but totally engaging take on Secret Avengers. So, I thought that I'd try this. What is going on? Reads like Grant Morrison on some mind-enhancing substance- and that is a frightening thought. I have no idea what or why and frankly don't care. Yes, the art is interesting to say the least, but let's have a proper storyline, please.Sorry, Ales, looking forward to Secret Avengers volume 3, but I'll not be testing the water with any other titles for a while.

Bucky deserves so much better. I advise anyone
Kot completely ruins the character of Bucky Barnes in this by reducing him to the Everyman in some male-nerdโs sexy alien fantasy. Bucky deserves so much better. I advise anyone, hardcore fan or otherwise, to NOT buy this comic. If you can, rate it badly wherever you find the chance so this terrible writer is never allowed to go anywhere near Bucky ever again. And hope Kot doesn't ruin it too badly that other writers won't be able to pull Bucky out of the mess Kot has made.

trippy
the story was okay but it was the artwork that annoyed me. The actual artwork was beautiful by itself but as comic book art to me it was very trippy and almost took away from the story.
