Great quality and features. Good fit.
Great quality, comfortable, good padding and soft on the inside. Zipper at bottom is a nice feature and nice details such as a strip on the inside of the cuffs to prevent slipping. Went for a ride at about 40°F and it warmed up by the end of my ride but I was comfortable the whole time. I am really impressed with the quality.update: Just bought another pair on sale. Ordered a Medium. I am 5'5" and have a thin build. There is extra material if you are taller by a few inches, but the excess material does not pose a problem. It bunches up towards the ankle (or wherever you shift it) but does not look bad. If you have thick legs then a medium might be tight on you though. Fleece lining is super comfortable and not overly warm when moving.

Fit is not what I expected.
I received these slightly insulated biking pants today. It's too warm to wear them, but I did try them on. I have a 28" inseam and these are about 3 inches too long, altho' I can pull them up and let them bunch up further up my leg. The back of the pant seems lower than the front, so that when you bend forward in a biking position, it's likely that your lower back will become exposed. I'm only guessing at this point, but it seems that they should be designed to be longer in the back and a bit shorter in the front. I'll add to this review once I've actually worn them on a colder day.

The user reviews are key.
1/22/21I’m 6’2” 194lbs. Kinda lanky. I purchased the XL. This being my first purchase of cycling tights, I did a lot of research first and settled on this brand based on the reviews, comments and photos. My main concerns were wind-blocking, sweat-wicking and the butt pad. Several reviews stated that the lack of a waist tie is problematic and the tights were prone to slipping down. I rode about 6 miles round trip with an outdoor TRX workout stop in the middle. The only slippage of the tights occurred during my TRX workout, but even that was minor. Plus, I could easily pause my workout and pull them up, though that wasn’t really necessary. I didn’t have any problem with slippage during the rides (I had on two shirts, both of which I had tucked in. That might have helped).Another criticism was that the butt pad was too thin and did not stay in place. Having a pretty boney ass myself, this was a big worry for me. But I found the pad to be very comfortable and it stayed in place just fine. In terms of slippage, I’m thinking the people who complained may have had one size too big.Next, wind and wick. While it was not super chilly this morning (high-forties with windchill factored in), it was cool enough to know that these tights suffice in both categories.Negatives: Not much, thankfully. The only possible negative might be that I noticed a bit of bunching behind the knees. This wasn’t a problem, really just an observation. However, I can imagine it might become problematic on longer rides.Overall: My first impression is pure love and appreciation. I really enjoyed having these on this morning. They doubled nicely for both cycling and TRX — and I didn’t feel like I had a load in my pants while working out.One more note. I have long legs and was worried about length. It turns out these are a perfect fit for me.

Padding is excellent and placed well. Very comfortable through a 1.5 ride.
A really great cycling pant for the money. Compared to my super expensive brand (Pearl IZumi) they definitely are competition but for a fraction of the price. These pants are comfy, fit well, and most of all the padding is really great! Padding and comfort while riding is always an issue for me. I ride my Peloton about 1 hr 20 mins, 6 days a week, and by the end of each ride, I sometimes get uncomfortable. But I am extremely satisfied with the padding and placement.I ordered men’s even though I am a female, by mistake, but it really worked out.Pants are lightly lined with fleece, perfect for fall/winter, but dried very fast and were nice and stretchy. Highly recommend.

Great riding pants!
I have several pair of these now. The fleece lined are nice and warm, but not too hot. I also have the non-fleeced lined pair, which are good for cooler, but not cold, weather. Very comfortable...fit snugly, which I like. I'm 5'8" with a 32 waist, and the mediums fit just right. The ankle zippers broke on one pair, but easy to fix by just slipping on some hair elastics. For this price, they can't be beat!

Probably should give 5 stars. . .easily the best $30 bike shorts/pants ever.
These were so inexpensive, I had to give them a try. Wildly exceeded my expectations, and when I went to order another pair they were even less expensive. Score! So why 4 stars and not 5? Mostly because they are a little loose in the back as somebody else mentioned and as good as they are for the price, they still are not as good as high end chamois. I just did 35 miles comfortably on them so they are certainly good--just not great. Would I still be happy if I had paid $60-$100 for them--yep. So getting a couple pairs of these for the winter is a NO BRAINER!

Excellent product and would buy again.
Just got these pants and they were wonderful on the 20+ mile ride. Temp was about 50 with no head wind and my average speed was 17mph. I was nice and warm (got the ones with fleece lining). I believe they should work well to a temp of around 35 to 40 F. They were true to size for me. Got to tell you it was a pleasure to ride in them.

Very insulating; comfortable ride, bulky fit
These pants are great for cold and my first choice for a base layer in frigid temps. The zippers are quality and the reflective strips are good too. The ankles cinch up tight for good thermal seal between socks and boots.Padding is bulky, but nothing feels crowded to me FWIW. YMMV on this.note: pants are labeled for three different sizes and amazon sent the wrong US size the first time. They got it right the second time.
