X 9 Foot Tyvek Ground Sheet or Tarp with 4 Adhesive Grommet Tabs from Campcovers

This was purchased to be used as a footprint under a Big Agnes Fly Creek HV UL2 tent. Of course it is over sized for that, but the plan was to trim it to size. As suggested we ran it through the washer with cold water and NO detergent. This completely transformed the material. It is completely silent, very pliable, and soft now. We pitched the tent over the Tyvek sheet and used a washable marker to layout are cutting lines. After trimming to size and taping the folded seams this Tyvek sheet is a perfect fit and is super light in weight. Tyvek tape is cheap and is available at any home improvement store. This Tyvek sheet is lighter than the Big Agnes factory footprint and cost 1/4 the price! Great product - 5 stars.

Loved using this as the footprint for under my tent! Had several sites with lots of rock/gravel and it served me well. No punctures in the tent floor and it really helped keep the bottom of the tent clean.

First I don't give 5 stars on any product ever unless my whole experience is exceptional and there is a human component to the purchase. Used this twice so far on a couple of overnights with my Big Agnes Tigerwall UL3. Placed a couple of rocks under the Tyvek to see if abrasion would cause any damage; Tyvek held up nicely. Good alternative to buying the expensive OEM footprint. Will update after my 4 night outing in Idyllwild, Ca if there are any issues. FYI: crinkle went away after 1 wash(let air dry).

Basing on other reviews it is what it is. Very light yet durable. Recommend for outdoor enthusiast.

Exactly as described and delivered quickly. Great for a tent footprint or a ground cloth to put you pad and bag on, and sleep under the stars. The footprint for my 3p tent was $80! This is lighter, more durable,higher r value and 1/4 of the cost.

It is what it is, but notice that it will shrink about 5-7% if you wash it to make the crinklyness go away.Yes, it crinkles loudly when new, but put it in the washer, and keep moving the timer back untill you feel it get soft, at least 20 minutes, and maybe more, depending on your washer.Then hang to dry. After that it is soft and pliable and does not sound loud at all. And it is still waterproof.Hopefully, you cut it to anticipate the shrinkage.

Use this stuff as a lightweight option for a tent footprint. Helps protect the floor of your tent while preventing ground moisture from coming through. Awesome stuff!!
