Q: Is the brush easy to control?

Yes. Very easy. Id compare it to a lip gloss brush, but firmer. Works better than most liquid eyeliners in my opinion. Smooth and clean.

Q: Any advice on how to get the jar open ? it’s brand new from today and it’s stuck shut

I would most likely try to run it under hot water too loosen lid. I really like this product. I bought 2. My kids bought it first and I tried it. I use my other eyeliner brush because the brush that comes with isn't as good as the other. I prefer angled for easier application.
