Tag Face Paints Black (32 Gm)

I spent a few years doing elaborate Halloween makeup using store bough grease paints. This was the first year I decided to get professional paints and WOW have I been missing out! They go on nice and thick and are SO easy to work with. I was able to apply a white base and work right on top of it with the black. I won’t ever go back to using cheap paints again.

I used a wet brush to apply and it worked well. It took a couple coats for me to get the solid black eye patch but was easy to apply. Mistakes were easy to correct as well. It stayed on throughout the evening yet was easy to wash off with no residual staining. It took a very small amount for Halloween and I now use it for everyday eyeliner. In the photo, this product was used for both of the human pirates' faces.

I bought this to paint a superhero mask on my face with the hope that it would also last through a long night of dancing. The result was just that! The paint is so easy to apply and a little goes a long way even for detailed designs. At the end of the day, it comes off with some makeup remover wipes when you're ready. The soft, black sheen really stands out against your features and looked so realistic on my skin that nearly everyone at the party thought I was wearing a real mask over my face! No stickiness or running and it blends in, so you don't even feel it there. Only time it rubs off a little is if you touch over it, so steer clear of that, but I can't wait to work with this paint again.

I LIKE THIS BLACK BETTER THAN SNAZAROO'S BECAUSE THE COLOR STAYS TRUERIT IS DRY AT FIRST BUT ONCE USED WITH A WET BRUSH IT GOES ON JUST LIKE NORMAL FACE PAINTMAY SEEM ODD AT FIRST TO PLAY WITH A DIFFERENT KIND (ITSDRY TO WET VS CREAMY CONSISTENCY),BUT YOU'LL GET USED TO IT :)MY SNAZAROO ALWAYS WORKS GREAT THE FIRST FEW TIMES, THEN QUICKLY LOOKS FADED NI MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I RE-DIP...EVEN WITHOUT BEING USED....OR DAMAGED EASILY IN WARM WEATHER AND I HAVE TO USE MANY LAYERSTHIS ONE I USE FEWER LAYERS FOR THE BLACK-BLACK LOOK, IF ITS HOT OR ---NOT, WHICH SAVES ME TIME AND MONEYGOES ON TRUER TO SHADE, IN LESS SWIPES MORE OFTEN THAN SNAZAROO - SO I PREFER THIS ONE FOR TIME AND MONEY SAVERS

I must admit - this is THE best face color that I have ever used..... I think there is a learning curve with the overall application and some instructions would have been helpful (did not get those) You must moisten an application sponge and have it the perfect degree of damp and NOT wet to apply.... It took several tries to not make it glumpy or streaky... great on face and neck - a little more difficult on chest area. I can see it will last me forever even after as many times as I applied it before going out! Once on - it stayed ALL night! It did not streak, run or accumulate in creases on my face... it stayed awesome all night despite dancing and sweating like a nut in my heavy red queen costume! I am super glad I purchased other colors just because! Good price and SOOOOO much better than anything I used in the past - throw those face paint tubes or greases away forever !
