Playtex Women's 18 Hour Active Lifestyle Full Coverage Bra #4159

I have had bad luck with bras all of my life, so buying one online was really a stretch for me. Bras always made my breasts feel way too heavy, made me feel hot (sometimes sweaty) and made huge indentations in my shoulders (even the ones with the extra padding to prevent that). I couldn't wait to get out of my bra when I got home. I figured I was just cursed. I was finally fed up with all of the strap and bra tugging and did some online research. I found this bra with good reviews but not convinced, I visited the Playtex website and I'm so glad I did. I found that [...] has a great site for measuring yourself to see if you're wearing the right bra. It even addresses what specific problems you have and how to fix it (i.e. bra straps slide down a lot-- your size is wrong, or "mushroom" bumps at the top of your bra, the straps may be too tight). I found that apparently the size I always thought I wore was wrong. I had measured myself before to find the right fit, but it was apparently not a good measure because I have never had a bra fit the way I wanted it to or thought it should. The size I was given on [...] was very different from the size I've been wearing. I was hesitant to order a different size, but finally decided to go ahead because the ones I had clearly were not working. I chose to buy Playtex because that was the sizing site I used. This particular bra had good reviews for people with ample breasts. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! For the first time ever, I don't find myself tugging at the back to pull the bra down or constantly trying to find lost straps from where they fell into my sleeve. This bra is comfortable, breathable, and does the job. And, it looks good under a variety of different types of shirts. It's smooth, no lines, and looks natural, not pointy. It's not restrictive. It was listed as an "active lifestyle" bra so I sort of thought it would be like a sports bra, but I am happy to see it's not. I wear it with work outfits and at home in leisurely clothes and it's equally flattering and fitting for both. And, shocker of all shockers, I don't even remember to yank it off as soon as I get home because it's so comfortable I forget I'm wearing it. :) I'm going to order more.

As for comfort, I can tell that I would have loved wearing this bra. The problem is, the sides are low cut so there was spillover at the top/side in the armpit area, and on the back (ya know, that "back fat" thing that some bras cause.) I'm a 42D and this just didn't fit me correctly and there was no hiding that fact even with clothing on. Going back to the other I've been wearing, Playtex original, same size, with the wider sides which fit me correctly but aren't as comfortable. Oh well........ Bottom line is, if this fits you correctly, chances are you'll really like it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fit. It gave a decent amount of lift and shape and and was comfortable. However, what I don't like about this bra is the amount of material over the breast. It is very thin so you can only guess what that means. Yup, you better hope you don't get cold. Bummer...will use for the gym, but I'm too embarrassed to wear for any other purposes.

This is an awesome bra for full-size women, very comfortable and stays in place and the straps don't keep on sliding off shoulders. However, before ordering this, please go on Playtex's website and use their measuring tools to find the right size for you, since the sizing on this bra is totally different than regular bras! The price on Amazon is much less than Playtex's website, so don't purchase from them.

..it doesn't separate very well. At least it doesn't for me. It may just be the size - I wear a 40DD. I ordered this bra, along with five other bras (four of which I sent back) in my search for a comfortable bra that supports AND separates. This bra is fairly comfortable, and it supports reasonably well, the straps stay in place, and the back strap doesn't creep up on me either. But it gives the breasts more of a pointy shape than I care for. And it doesn't separate at all. Much like a sports bra, this gives me the 'uni-boob' which I just cannot stand!Another bra I ordered at the same time was the "Just My Size Casual Attitude Cotton Spandex Wire Free" bra, and I absolutely LOVE that one! It's comfy and supports and separates! I've since ordered several more of those!But I am going to keep this one, for laundry days or when my others are dirty or whatnot.

I love 18 hour bras and this model is the most comfortable one I own. However, it does not look fabulous under clothes; it kind of gives you that uni-boob look, not very uplifting. But, like I said, its the most comfortable bra I own and I am willing to sacrifice some looks for comfort. BTW, I am a 36b and this bra fits true to size. I will definitely purchase again!

I love love love love this bra for the following reasons:- it holds me- it washes and dries well (I put it in the dryer)- it doesn't hold odor- it doesn't make me feel like I have on a sports bra aka unibra- it's CHEAP!I have bought $30 sports bras that didn't do what this bra does. VERY happy with this purchase! I have a hard time getting a bra that fits well, supports well and is comfortable. As noted by other reviewers, the cup size is generous and the band size can be a bit smaller...so it is wise to check the sizing chart before ordering. Overall, a great fit with a great price for these long use bras! I think Playtex bras are one of the best bras on the market.
