22" Open Top Heavy Duty Deluxe Tote Bag with Outer Pocket

These tote bags are fantastic quality and such a great size. They’re large, sturdy, and hold so much without feeling flimsy or cheap. The heavy-duty material makes them perfect for beach trips, travel, events, welcome bags, or everyday hauling. One of my favorite things is how easy they are to personalize. They work beautifully for monograms, vinyl decals, event logos, bridal parties, family beach vacations, or custom gifts. The clean design and large size make them feel much more elevated than typical tote bags. I also love the open-top design because it makes it easy to quickly grab towels, snacks, sunscreen, books, or all the random things that somehow come along for a beach day. Great value for the quality, and they look adorable customized for group trips or special events.

I purchased three of these bags in purple, mint green, and light pink. I was extremely pleased with the quality, color, durability, and size of the bags. These were their favorite colors so I was very happy that they were the same shades as advertised in the listing. The size and material was perfect for my co-teachers, as they often have to carry materials back and forth from school, so I wanted the bags to be a thicker material so they would last. The off-white color was perfect as I wanted something in that color tone so my students could put their handprints on the bags with fabric paint, and show up against the bag. It turned out adorable, and my teachers were so excited to have such a nice bag that would be practical, was large enough for books and a computer, while helping them to remember our students in a very memorable year for teaching. The bags were large enough for all the handprints to fit, which was extremely important to me. I prewashed the bags and had the children paint their hands with a paintbrush using Tulip Fabric Paint, then helped them put their handprint on the bags. The paint adhered beautifully to the bags, dried quickly, and helped me give them a one of a kind gift for all their hard work this year. I look forward to ordering more next year! If you are on the fence about these, definitely get them, as the size is great, they can hold a lot, they are made from quality materials, the handles are comfortable on your shoulder, and are a nice length.

This is a GREAT tote bag! I needed something for lugging all of my “stuff” back and forth from work- (which is somehow always a lot- shoes, lunch, an extra sweater, etc...) and I had been looking at a beautiful, much more expensive Laurel Birch tote bag. It was really beautiful, but I just wasn’t sure about spending so much, and it wasn’t even really as large as I needed, so I looked around and ended up finding this one. The price was amazing, and although a bit plain looking, I bought it. It’s actually a nice looking bag. It looks well made and not “cheap looking”, probably because it IS well made. It’s also very soft & flexible, and not stiff and tough like some canvas tote bags are. The handles are the perfect length and allow me to either comfortably carry it over my shoulder, or by hand. It holds a lot- I can easily fit all of my “work stuff” in it, and the handles are sewn in well and are strong, so I don’t have to worry about them tearing from the weight of the stuff inside.I love this bag so much, that I also ordered the next size up- the grocery bag. I highly recommend.

Actual dimensions before use: 21x13x6, smaller than described. Handle is 25 inches. This bag is reasonably well constructed. The canvas is one large piece with no seam at the bottom. In addition, the colored bottom actually reinforces the canvas. I can lift 25 pounds in the bag but I wouldn't recommend carrying more than about 20 pounds in it for long. The colored stripes do not go around the bottom as they would in a $40 bag, so they do not reinforce the bag bottom. The zipper portion is a 7x7 inch pocket on the inside of the bag. This would make a reasonable shopping or boat bag. I have had bad outcomes washing even the $40 type bag so I won't wash this one.

I injured my back lifting a trash can Got it full of clean and dry recycled containers, newspapers, etc. and took it full down a flight of stairs out back and dumped it into the city's recycle can. I then had to return it to the kitchen. I'm still suffering from these experiences. If can was full or empty it was still too heavy for me. A few weeks after the initial injury I saw your large tote bag and ordered one. Upon receipt I was impressed with the size and overall design. When I filled it with clead/dry recycled stuff, I was amazed at how lite the load was ... Apparently 95% of the weight was in the metal garbage can. So I did the reasonable thing and ordered a second bad. Thanks!!

UPDATE: We have had these a while now, just under a year -- and they get used every day for hauling mail to the post office and back. We use stiff, pointy-sharp mailers that are heavy (some of what we ship are books). These bags HOLD UP like champs. Thesy still look almost brand new after a year of heavy use. I just bought four more -- because my business is growing, so we need more totes -- we're not replacing, just adding to our "fleet" of bags. I have occasionally had to wash one or two, and they also do great in the washing machine. ***** I purchased a few of these to get packages to the post office -- I ship a few hundred packages a week, and these bags hold a lot of flat and bubble wrap mailers. They're very sturdy, so even when the bags get heavy, they get the work done. I have already ordered two more. They're plain -- but they're a very good quality and are standing up to some heavy lifting.

I bought this as a replacement for a sturdy and reliable canvas bag (that looks exactly like this in style and construction) However, the accent color on the old bag was also canvas as opposed to this thin cotton. This bag is more capacious but I question how long it will hold up to being filled with cans or heavy sacks of flour or rice. I'm open to being proven wrong since this was pretty inexpensive but I'm still skeptical

Nice bag. I though it has zipper but it doesn't. A little bit disappointed as I purchased it to use as beach bag. It should be very good for grocery shopping.

This bag is exactly like I thought it would be. It is a large enough bag for carrying all my gardening and relaxation items at the same time. My last tote was from France and it was made of straw, I hope this lasts as long as the other one did.

Is as expected only wish it had a zipper.

Since many stores are going bagless, I wanted something durable and washable that looks nice that I can use other than for groceries. Perfect size.

Sturdy. Meets its purpose. Disappointed that the one I received has no zipper.
