I used Kreyszig's Advanced Engineering Mathematics back in the 70s when I was doing EE in India. Loved it then - of course there were no computers and slide rules were our trusted friends - I had a chance to peruse through this edition at a library recently. I loved it as much, not just because it is still the best book both to learn as well as as a reference, but also because it has been thoroughly modernized. Armed with my copy of Mathematica I randomly worked through some of the problems and got the same thrills as I had some 35+ years ago. Hats off to you, Prof Kreyszig!

Not all sections are included. Only one or two solutions per section. Very rarely they'll have an extra sentence or so of explanation, but that's about it.

Title says it all. There are only 2 solutions to 2 of the problems per section. What a rip-off! It's just a watered-down outline of the textbook. Don't waste your money on the solutions manual!I was expecting solutions to all the odd problems... uggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! 52 bucks for this??????? Robbery!

This is a comprehensive compendium on engineering mathematics which I found fascinating and enjoyable to read. This is not a book for the novice but for those with a strong background in high school Mathematics. I used an earlier edition of this book as a graduate student and it is still among the texts I use as a reference book. Among the extensive topics covered include linear algebra, ordinary and partial differential equations, Fourier series, differential forms, graph theory, oscillation matrices, quantum symmetries, complex variables, probability and statistics, vector calculus, numerical and computer methods.The book is a useful, helpful and handy reference for the engineering mathematics and applied mathematics student. The book is well written and the material is well organised with similar related concepts grouped together allowing a fluidity that facilitates its use. The author also presents various problems which when worked out will ensure a complete grasp of the subject.

I received the book really fast. The quality of the books received were very good. I would recommend this seller for future buyers.

The book is good. It gives some idea about the questions but the fact is that mainly the desired questions are not solved in these type of Manuals. Still it can help

Only a few problems per chapter are explained/solved. Not worth the money. Really a paltry manual
