Breckelle's Outlaw-13 Women's Ankle Strap Tall Riding Boots BK 6.5 Black

I purchased these 2 years ago for camping and outdoor festivals. I wear a size 6 but went up a half size as suggested. It fit perfectly and little extra room for thick socks in the winter. They have held up just fine, and I have been wearing them nearly every day for 2 years because they go with everything. : ) When they arrived, they smelled like chemicals and/or gasoline as others said, and what I did was let them air out in a separate room for a day, then I went ahead and cleaned them with a mixture of coconut oil and essential oil. The smell of chemicals only lasted for maybe a week. The laces are just long enough to double tie, but the best part is the full zipper side to get in and out of them. I have worn them for hours, walking, running, and overall playing in the woods. They have gotten wet a few times from creeks and rain, but it's not effected the leather. My feet stayed dry too. I was thinking of buying a back up pair soon, as I am afraid they will be discontinued, they are such a good buy for the cheap price and have held up. They aren't like the stiff bulky "combat boots" you come across, they feel already broken in from the start. Oh, and I am under 5ft and these come to right below my knees.

I wear these because I love the appearance. I also like the texture of the vegan leather in these. They aren't super comfortable for a long day on your feet, since there is very little padding. When I added an insole, it made my heel sit up too high and fit in the boots uncomfortably.I wish they had another version of the exact same boot, but with a heel.Update: I’ve only worn these about 4 days a week for half the year, and the zipper on one broke, and the seams at the bottom of the other were coming apart enough that I could see the ground through the shoe if I looked inside. They aren’t even slightly water resistant. Walking through dewy grass means sopping wet feet, which is something I don’t expect to happen in boots. It’s probably due to the crappy seams.Oh well, you get what you pay for, I guess. For the price, they’re still worth it.

So bought these boots new at beginning of COVID. Didn’t get a chance to wear them until last week. First night I wore them pretty much the entire sole came of my right for as I was walking. I almost fell. Site says to long since I bought them to return. Hello COVID. Not my fault. Emailed seller and nothing. No response what so ever. This is my 7th pair of these boots. Maybe I should find a new favorite!!!!!

I am normally a size 6 but ordered 1/2 size up based on recommendation from someone who owned these boots. A little big but fine with heavy socks. Love everything about the boots except the laces. The are a little too short & seem like they would break easily. Overall a great deal.
