Huge upgrade from K-Cups
Let me start by saying that I love this coffee machine! I owned a Cuisinart K-Cup brewer for a little while (3 months), and while it was a very nice machine the coffee was just never to my taste. Then I discovered the Vue brewing system and it sounded intriguing as it seemed to address most of my major complaints about K-Cups. Those complaints being:1) I could not brew a strong enough cup of coffee2) The taste was just off in some unexplainable way3) The environmental aspect of tossing plastic away each day4) The cost of K-CupsThe Vue brewing system solves the first 3 for me, though I should note that #4 is now worse with Vue. A trade off I can live with, for now. Vue takes a different, and I think much better, approach to brewing. Instead of poking holes in the top and bottom of the container as with K-Cups, Vue pokes two in the top but then tips the cup on it's side (or maybe almost upside down). The water is pushed through the cup in one hole and comes out the other, using gravity (and pressure) to drop it into your mug. But this arrangement seems to offer more time for the water to be in contact with the grounds. So to address my complaints:1) Stronger coffee is offered inherently in how it is brewed. But there is also a "strong" setting. This setting does make it take slightly longer to brew but it is worth every second (and we are talking about just seconds here). I also wonder if there aren't more grounds in the Vue cups. But I have no proof of this.2) Better taste. This is totally subjective but was clear for me. The very first cup, using the same beans as with K-Cups was like night and day. Though I should note that Vue has water temperature options and I did bump it up by 2 degrees. Whatever the reason, the coffee is MUCH better. I actually love it now. Imagine?3) Environmental. With K-Cups I had moved to using reusable filters. They worked well and were not inconvenient. With Vue the cups allow you to pull the filter and grounds out of the plastic. A simple tug and they release with zero mess. Now you can opt to compost the grounds and recycle the cup easily (assuming you have #5 plastic recycling nearby).4) Cost. This one is a fail. Vue cups are more expensive, considerably if you buy K-Cups at a discount. This is likely for two reasons, first Vue is nowhere near as popular (yet? I hope), plus I assume Keurig has a new patent on Vue and I hear the K-Cup patent has or is about to expire. Keurig needs to address this somehow, the cost is a roadblock for many. For me, I may once again use a re-usable filter so I can use my own coffee beans at standard coffee costs, and just use Vue cups for special occasions or infrequent convenience.Feature-wise this brewer has a bunch of options and a nice LCD touch screen to control it. I really like the options and interface. I do however have one major complaint. With so many options there is no way to set your own defaults. Since I do not like the defaults I now need to change settings every single time I make a cup of coffee. I bump it to strong (defaults to normal) and use a 12oz cup (defaults to 8, requiring two more touches). First world problems for sure, but then a coffee maker like this is clearly a first world luxury. Just seems like such a simple thing they could have added to this otherwise exceptional brewer. The end result is that this is a fantastic coffee brewer. I will be signing its praises to everyone I encounter that likes coffee and lives a lifestyle that makes a traditional coffee brewer the wrong choice.Well done Keurig.

Awesone machine
I previously had the Cuisinart keurig and it worked fine for months, but it was just so large and took up so much room. My daughter got the 500 model of the Vue and I looked them all over and decided on the V600 for $98.00. The V700 was $100.00 more and the only difference I could see was color screen. Anyway the V600 has worked perfectly from day one, and seems to heat up faster than the cuisinart. I love the clean design and it has less of a footprint. In fact, I got the revolving rack and both fit in about the same area. I had the drawer under the cuisinart and had had to pull the whole thing out every moning because raising pod holder hit cabinet. No problem with that now. The only problem I have with it is cup size, you have to set if for every cup, it reverts to 8oz after every use and I use 12oz. I forget and have to go back and set on 4oz and run again. And the problem everyone has with it-coffee pod selection. I have plenty I like , but keurig needs to put out more variety as with the regular K cup. Overall though, I love the machine and haven't had one problem with it.

I have returned it
I don't know if the water did not get hot enough, or what, but the coffee was just not good and the frothers were not frothy.By the way, do not buy anything directly from Keurig: I made the error of buying 5 boxes of frothers, working on the idea that I would love it and take delight in my frothy coffee. I used one cup from each of two boxes, leaving the other 3 boxes intact. They will not let me return them! I am guessing it is just the model I had and that other models or even the same model without the flaws will perform well, but I am not going to take that chance. If you have a VUE machine that works properly, I will happily sell you these frother cups! All you do is run the frother first, then run a coffee on top of it.

Disappointed by Keurig, not the coffee maker
The coffee maker is wonderful. It works well, It's easy to use and clean. The coffee variety is good. My problem is that Keurig isn't pushing this product enough so I can't get the coffee in any of our local markets, I can only order it. Every time now I visit a store and see the racks of K cups, I just feel regret I chose the newer Vue Cup. I had hoped Keurig would be making the coffee more readily available... I feel like a purchased a better beta VCR and now I'm stuck with it because VHS did a better job of marketing, if you're old enough to know what I mean.

Love My Keurig Vue 600
Great great coffee & so fun to experiment with different roasts & flavors Was previously strictly a Yuban Columbian coffee drinker using a Mr Coffee 4-cup but am so much more now because my Keurig makes it so easy! Plus now I know what really good coffee is supposed to taste like! This brewer seems to bring out the best flavor in a variety of coffees. My first Keurig Vue 600 quit one morning after just about a month of use. (it would only pump coffee 2-3 times and then got back to the main menu without completing the brew cycle) Called Keurig C/S and they were great. They figured it was a touch pad/electronic malfunction that was shutting off the brew cycle too early. Sent me a new Vue 600 which I received within a week, no cost. Had to mail back the small brew head, but the rest I could keep or trash. My new Keurig Vue 600 is working great! And still loving the coffee & all other teas, etc that I can brew with it. Have not regretted this purchase & Keurigs great customer service made it even better.
