This works a treat on my long coat border collie. I have tried about 6 types of brush, but this one works the best by far. As it is only a couple of teeth deep, it doesn't get snagged in too deep and glides through well, bringing out all of his under coat. It does seem to cause a bit of static and I have fluff everywhere, but I think that just comes with the territory. Would recommend!

Tried a lot of other brushes, but they never seem to get through our German Shepard dogs coat. Those that did often hurt or tugged. This brush is just perfect, it's long prongs and rounded ends get deep into the fir but don't scratch the skin. Using gentle strokes we found it soon removed all the matted under fir and we were able to remove all the unwanted trapped hair. Out Shepard has never looked so good.

This is excellent for grooming our long haired German Shepherd , who is double coated , we are really pleased with this item, great value and fast delivery.

I have a very hairy German Shepherd who also likes the wet, mud, sand and anything else that can get ingrained in her coat so it has been tricky finding something effective.This rake comb has been a godsend and when she had her first moult in the summer (around 11 months old) it was just brilliant for getting out that thick undercoat that somehow manages to drop everywhere round the house and ends up hanging from her in clumps.A 5 minute go with the comb every day vastly reduced the amount shed around the home although I did end up with equivalent fur of two more dogs in my bin by the end of the week!If anyone can tell me why, when so much comes out, they don't end up bald please send answers on a postcard!I highly recommend this comb for any dogs with thick undercoats and lots of hair.

Comfortable handle and gets tgrough matted hair, my collies look like new dogs.

Kamm liegt gut in der Hand. Haare, auch Unterhaar entfernt sich gut und leicht.Kann den Kauf empfehlen. Da ich den Kamm erst kürzlich gekauft habe, kann ich zur Haltbarkeit noch nichts sagen.

Unser Cocker-Spaniel neigt zum Verfilzen, zudem verliert sie wirklich viel Fell, das sich zum Teil als dichte Unterwolle absetzt. Mit dieser Bürste ist es relativ einfach, das auszukämmen und tatsächlich habe ich bisher auch nichts besseres gefunden: Feinere Bürsten mag unsere Hündin nicht, Detangler und "normale" Bürsten holen nicht die Unterwolle heraus. Leider sind die "Borsten" relativ spitz – hier wäre wünschenswert, wenn sie unten dicker wären, damit man dem Hund nicht aus Versehen weh tut. Daher: Vorsichtig kämmen – das ist dann auch der fehlende Stern.

Wer Hunde mit langer, dicker Unterwolle hat, der weiß, dass man eine Bürste braucht, die das abkönnen muss und dabei den Hund nicht zu sehr ziept. Diese Bürste tut genau das, ist günstig.
