USimplySeason Zaatar Spice (Original Seasoning, 4.8 Ounce ).

This spice is fantastic, I totally took a chance buying this when I was looking for some Ethiopian spices on Amazon and I'm glad I did. I love the construction of the container and how it dispenses the spice. It has large enough holes to add a good amount of spice to your dishes quickly. It's not spicy so you can add a liberal amount to anything and it doesn't overpower the dish. But it adds so much flavor to everything and it goes good with practically everything. I use it all the time in soups salads, pasta, veggies, guacamole, etc. I also like the large size because you end up using a lot of the spice and I like the larger quantity. Many spices I would say buy a small size because you want your spices to stay fresh but this one will be all gone in 6 months the way I'm consuming it. If you are a spice person like me this needs to be one to give a try, you will not be disappointed. By the way the company Amboseli Foods is very courteous and followed up to make sure I was satisfied. All around 5 stars.

I have a middle-eastern (Egypt) colleague who said I should try this, and he thinks is tastes authentic.It goes well with meats and I have also made potato/egg/veggie salad with it, really nice

Tastes incredible! I am new to this blend, but needed it for an eggplant soup recipe. I had heard that the best Za'atar seasoning can be poured into your hand and eaten as is. One review said that this one was good enough for that. I ordered it, it came fast, was sealed well, and was fresh. I tried eating it straight first thing (two minutes after I opened the Amazon box it arrived in). Poured about a 1/4 teaspoon into my palm and licked it up. VIOLA is this stuff tasty! I've since spiced several dishes with it and every time it comes out phenomenal. This is my new "secret ingredient"! Will definitely be ordering it again!

Great flavor!! Used it on lamb. Came out amazing. Wish it came in bulk for catering. A little pricey for for large quantity cooking. Small meals its ok. Still on pricey side though. Should sell in bulk with no frills packaging.

I saw a recipe for Za'atar chicken so I ordered two bottles, one for myself and one for my son. Both of us agree that this is the best combo of spices and perks up any meal. We have added it to eggs, spaghetti, lasagna, chicken, tuna casserole and it enhances the flavor of all dishes. Run do not walk to get this spice combo.

This is the first time I’ve cooked using za’atar and my family loved it. I used it in Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street recipe for za’atar roasted chicken using bone-in, with skin, thighs and skipped the last step for the crushed roasted garlic with lemon sauce only because I ran out of fresh garlic. We were skeptical about how the recipe would taste without the sauce but everyone wanted seconds. This za’atar spice made the chicken absolutely delicious in less than 50 minutes with about 5 minutes prep time.

It's not on my radar but this spice has an interesting flavor. Can't say I would use it often but some recipes call for it so it's now part of my pantry stock.

This just came and as I am experimenting with using olive oil for dipping, after reading the other 299 reviews, I was "all over it"! It is totally fascinating and quite as described. I will be using this on many things including in place of Oregano on the Spinach, Vidalia Onion and Feta stuffing in my Tilapia Florentine! This is everything I expected and more. I ordered the 4 oz. size as it is twice the quantity of the smallest for a little over $1 more, and the bottle was filled up to top. I will be reordering this.As a post script, I am enjoying this as a "go to" seasoning and it will probably be on top of a pizza this weekend!

Great addition to my spice & herb collection. Adds a pleasant flavor- coordinating and cooperating very well with other spices/herbs. Or - shines all by itself. I highly recommend this product.

No flavor at all. None. Not sure what happened. The reviews were good. I have a sensitive sense of taste but I still cannot taste anything at all with this za'atar.

The price is not fair $17 for this item I never buy again
