Works Just Like The Anchor Buddy
Instead of beaching your boat, this bungee works well. Used at the stern of my boat and a shore spike at the bow. My anchor is a 15lbs fluke with a slide ring. I highly recommend to use your regular anchor rope along side the anchor bungee. For this reason, easy to set and retrieve your anchor. DO NOT USE THE BUNGEE FOR EITHER OR... Drop anchor with both bungee and rope attached. Wait till your anchor hits ground then pull a little bit of slack off the rope. Not too much. Tie off the rope and bungee to the front bow cleat. Slowly drive your boat in reverse towards the shore you'll be hanging out. You should've been about 20-30ft away from shore. Once your anchor sets, drive forward just enough to loosen tension off the anchor rope. Untie the rope from your boat and tie a buoy to the rope. Toss it over board. If possible move the bungee from the bow to stern. Drive towards shore. Set your shore spike and unload your gear and passengers. Once your done loosen your docking rope from the spike and watch your boat float safely away from shore. Tie off the dock rope on to the spike and TADA!!! To retrieve, pull the dock rope, load what you want, and untie from the spike. The bungee will pull you back into deeper water towards your buoy. Disconnect the bungee from your boat and tie it off to the buoy for easy retrieval when you return. You have an idea by now how this works. Its great and easy to use. At least for me. Common sense is all it take to use this bungee. Like I mentioned.... DO NOT USE THIS BUNGEE TO SET OR RETRIEVE YOUR ANCHOR! This is why I recommend to use an anchor rope along side. This bungee will break and your out of an anchor. Happy Boating!!!

Stretchy & Secure - In shallow depths
Was very happy to get this bungee anchor line. We use this to "Spring" our wake boat off the shore. We have used it in Beach and rocky situations. This works great with a static stern line to the beach. You simply yank on that stern line and bungee the boat in for loading or whatever...let go and the boat goes back out away from the beach. You can see in the photo that the bungee holds the stern line out of the water under steady tension. This takes a bit of figuring out first go around and honestly, I think this would be better at 75' but 50' works in shoreline uses like shown. It wouldn't take much to extend the Anchor end by 25' with static rope. This would also allow the anchor to lay down and give a better angle for it to bite the bottom. The issue with this bungee is it doesn't easily allow for adequate scope in many situations over 25' depth. But it does work when it works --- which is in depths of less than 25' in my experience or as a rigging aid to spring a boat off like I typically like to do.

Works perfectly, we love ours, it saves your boat from damage, and even helps you back off the beach without power.
Used it at Lake Powell this past weekend, and the Anchor Bungee saved our hull from serious damage! As you approach the beach (which in Lake Powell is often pure sandstone that will seriously damage your boat!) you toss the anchor off the back about 50 feet from shore. Once tossed, just put the drive in neutral, and the bungee eventually slows, stops, then begins to gently pull the boat back toward the water. If you time it right (which is easy because the bungie has a broad range of stretch) you hop out with a bow line as the front of the boat approaches the shore, and just have someone hold it until you can either tie to an existing hard point, or prepare your beach spike.Either way, you space it so the bungie holds the boat (floating) about 10 feet off the beach, and when you need to get in just pull the bow line toward you and the bungie gives enough to let you pull the boat closer while you climb in.It works perfectly. I'd highly recommend for anyone who boats where the shoreline is rocky, or simply doesn't want to damage the bow of their boat by letting it grind on the sandy beach.

Takes the abuse out of tubing
This is perfect for pulling tubers. The bungee takes the beating out of the back of your boat and makes the ride better for everyone. This is the second one I have gotten after the last one I had gave started to break down after 7 seasons.

Bright color can be seen easily underwater, which is crucial so that other boaters don't run over my stern anchor as they come up to the beach. Unfortunately you can pretty easily exceed the breaking strength of the rubber bands inside this rope, so pull up hard on it when landing the boat! I tied an extra 25' length of rope between the anchor and this line to give me some extra adjustment; I beach the boat without pulling tight on the stern line, unload, then carefully pull the boat back out until it is lightly tensioned. Works great and the boat sits right off the beach waiting for me to pull her in with the bow anchor. Highly recommended! BUT -- do be careful not to pull up tight on the rope, or leave it anchored overnight in rough conditions - it will break the elastic core more quickly than I expected and I have already replaced it once!

Sturdy strong tow rope
Alas, after many years and lots of riders our tow rope was almost worn through, so time for an update. I found this rope, with the extra bungee at one end. Sounded like a great idea to take out the neck and tube jerking yank when slack becomes a problem. This bungee rope really does help to eliminate the slack. Gives a better tube ride for sure. The bungee part is a bit heavier so it has a bit of a tendency to drag in the water slightly at times, but we do not have a very high rope connection on our boat. So far so good, we’ll use it more to determine whether the dragging is a nuisance or not, but probably not. Overall a very sturdy, well made tubing rope.

Works as Expected!
This bungee is perfect for our boats and jet skis. Add the anchor and a buoy ball, and we're ready! They are light and easy to manage.

easy on tube
I like this rope gives just the right amount of stretch. Doesn't jerk when slack comes out.

Good quality bungee cord
It is as described and is of good quality. I use it to anchor a 10’ x 10’ raft in a lake and it works well. Only used for about 2 weeks.

Nice, works well
Takes out most of the jerk from rope slack, but not all. Nice little add-on, and for the price you really can't go wrong

Reduces action on the anchor and allows you to pull boat to shore.
This bungee is awesome! Saw a friend use one and had to add it to my anchor setup. Even when I couldn't use it to pull my boat ashore due to the shallowness of the bay, it provided me with much more confidence in my anchor setting because it does not jerk on the anchor line at all. The bungee takes all the action out of the rope and did an amazing job. I will always have one of these on my primary anchor from now on. The only modification I made was to add heavier shackles which I am sure was overkill for my boat but makes me sleep better.
