For beginners, not intermediate
First, like others have said, its more Wiccan than pagan. I know the author likes to use those terms interchangeable but, ask an Asatru, Hellenic, Kemetic or a Voodoo priestess how much they enjoy the rule of three and they look at you like your crazy. Why would other polytheistic religions yield to a British one and let them make the rules? It's nonsense. Each religion is going to follow their own dictates. On the pro side, it has many lists of things and definitions. If, for some reason , you are looking into Wicca and trying to hide your trail, or happen to be somewhere with out internet connection, or you just want to learn without the distraction of a phone, the book will save you Google queries. It lists out and goes over many subjects. Its a beginner level book and the sections are clearly marked for easy navigation. On the con side I think it spends way, way too much time with definitions. Some are useful for clarification but, there are so many, they become like page filler. The history in book is inaccurate. It was published in 2020! "Witches were the original healers and medicine women of European villages...they acted as midwives and helped new mothers nurse their babies." This is actually fiction that was propagated in the 1900's. But people seem to have said it so long that they don't bother checking if its true.Midwives were the midwives of europe. Every hut, household, longhouse, castle and monastery used herbs for medical remedies. Its wholly normal. They also had hands on healing by 'holy people', who could be male or female. The more successful a healer, the holier you were considered. They whole burning thing happened when the Catholic church began to loose power to the protestants. that's why the worst of the burning times is after 1500, gotta wait for Luther to make his post. Not that deaths didn't happen before then, but the worst of it was about 1520s-1630s. The Salem trials were late, they were considered country bumpkins by the world.Even now, if you look at the numbers of death, places that were staunchly Catholic, like Ireland, have very few deaths. Places where the protestants had to fight for control, like Germany, have massive numbers of deaths. Its politics that got certain people accused and others spared. Our idea of witches as healers, diviners, light-workers, etc. Is a modern concept. There is nothing wrong with it. I prefer to be a modern witch than a historical one. But, at the same time, It's no good to rewrite history to suit some 1900's narrative. Witches have to know where they come from, the good and the bad.

Not what I expected.
I bought this book based on Amazon reviews, but one persons treasure is another persons trash, so to speak. The book is edited by an independent small publishing house, which for me has often proven to be dissatisfying more often than not, because of how they choose to edit and present the book. I always find books published by independent published to be lacking in professional formatting, and too me the content looks as if it could have been designed on a lap top. The content of the book, though simple in its narrative is perfectly suited for a novice or someone new to the potions and spell casting. It is a lovely book and has a lot of information on a variety of subject. Don’t get me wrong, it is a very nice and the author put a lot of heart into the deliverance of this book, but it is not what I expected.
