6 months with the SP Ableware Maddak 4-Inch Elongated Seat (725831004)
SP Ableware Maddak Tall-Ette 4-Inch Elongated Elevated Toilet Seat (725831004)After using another style, we bought this one to see if it would help with a.) reducing floor splatter accidents, b.) aid in self cleaning, and c.) the added 1" or so height would better aid a 90yr old female. And it's accomplished all objectives. No urine on the floor, ease of reach and increased ease of rising all accomplished. Our prior ones did not have the slopping slot, which led to two of the three aforementioned issues. It fits our (relatively newish) Toto CST743S commode nicely --noting that we went by the dimensions specified and not the terminology labeling ("round" vs "elongated"). We've been using it for 6 months now.We initially didn't install the 'permanent' bracket, using it merely resting on and down in the commode bowl, as our prior used version did --along with the wrap around support hand rails-- *which i absolutely would not use these seats without*-- as the prior worked nicely, giving the quick option to remove it and reuse the conventional seat lid for closing, like when visitors were here. We then recently bolted down the attachment, not having really used the closed lid option that much, and feeling the added security would be worth the trade-off. It's not quite as visually blending, but functional and likely safer. For a 170lb person there has been zero wobble (with the Toto CST743S nor the mounted bracket method). While initially snug using the included bracket, removal of the seat itself for thorough cleaning is easy enough (for a younger senior/caregiver); we sparingly added some light lubricant to the two tapered connection points to further aid here. We've had one instance of diarrhea, and the seat cleaned up nice as new. As with all of such, we find removing of the seat essential to getting a good expanded bowl cleaning, regardless of make or reason. While it seems well made, design and material/quality wise, for plastics, we would like to have seen it a tad lower in price ($48.04 with free shipping +tax), but options were limited at our time of purchase.

Quality riser that is easy to install.
A must have immediately following knee replacement surgery. This riser is very sturdy. It fits onto your toilet in a way that it acts like a funnel so there is no leakage between the riser and the toilet. Easy to clean.

missing Lok-In-El Bolt-Down Bracket in standard toilet.
my understanding is that with standard seat it should be included as the following description show the options. When I got it standard seat it was missing Bolt-Down Lok-In-El Bracket, otherwise it is a good seat. I am unable to contact the vendor. Bolt-Down Lok-In-El Bracket for Elongated Elevated Toilet SeatsBracket attaches to the toilet with the toilet seat hinge bolts. It requires unscrewing the nuts and raising the seat slightly to slide in the bracket. The Bolt-Down Bracket is supplied when you order for an elongated toilet, but can also be used on a standard toilet when a more permanent attachment is desired.

poor quality
Attached the part as directed that fits under the existing seat and did not secure it at all. Wobbles from side to side and slides front to back. Not suitable for seniors.

Serves a purpose but I could have chosen beter.
It was hard to find a 6" lifter for the toilet seat, but I'm quite tall and was having knee surgery and this was reasonably cheap. Super easy to assemble and stays in place. The worst drawback is that you cannot close the toilet lid when you flush. That is a huge pet peeve of mine so I've been mildly annoyed (and hiding my toothbrush from germs) for months. If you're having even the slightest bit of tummy troubles you can expect some solid contents to splash on the sides of the interior of the seat. The only thing I could use to completely clean it was Clorox toilet bowl cleaner with bleach and then scrub it with the toilet brush and rinse. The seat is very sturdy. I weigh about 300 lbs and did not experiencing any shifting around the bowl and never felt nervous that my 'perch' was going to break or crack.I did give it a 5 star rating in spite of these issues because I didn't realize when I was shopping what exactly were going to be good features so the annoyances are my fault, not the manufacturers. This is a good product and will last for a while. I'm going to hang on to it for my next knee surgery.

Quality of the material
The height was perfect. The surface is rough and hard to clean. I’ve had other seats in the past that were shinier and very easy to clean. I’ve tried cleaning it with several different things but nothing takes everything off.

Rare height
I had foot surgery and could not put any weight into my foot. It was difficult to find anything over 4 inches. My feet do not completely touch the ground and it has been the perfect size. Easy to clean. Heavy duty/sturdy. I’m 275lbs and it can hold my weight with no issues. I’m grateful this product was available and it’s exactly what I needed.
