Does what it says it will no problem so far it’s been three months in the winter weather still good to go !Update 7 months of use for blink camera at the highest (largest longest amount of recording ) and it has not failed me once ! You need this solar panel this is my third one I have them on my front of house and on my horse pasture post to monitor the horses.

So I was a little worried that a solar panel add-on from another vendor might not work well with my new Blink XT2 cameras but they are perfectly compatible so far. Just installed my first panel and it seems to be keeping the camera well powered with even overcast sunlight. Product shipping and customer follow up was exceptional with this seller. I have a Blink XT facing the street, so it activates every time a car passes by, in every 5 minutes. New batteries lasted 2 days in it, that was the consumption. It has been a week and there were rainy days, so far camera never turned off.You simply install the base plate somewhere seeing sun (no hardware came in it), the cable is long enough like 2 meters to reach the camera. It also has an on off button at the bottom

I got this for a friend who had one of his Blink cameras burn through batteries because of excessive of alerts. I charged this up for a day and then went up the ladder, mounted it, removed the batteries from the Blink XT and plugged it in to the solar panel. It powered up instantly. Has been working great ever since.

This product worked out great for my situation. I was going through the Lithium batteries very fast on my driveway camera. Mostly because my wife constantly walking back and forth to her gardens. But now with this solar power I don't have to worry about changing batteries.

I have several of these panels and they keep my cameras fired up with no electrical wires and extra batteries.

The two solar panels came via USPS, delivered two days before expected. Packaging could have been better, the outside box was damaged, but the panel boxes were in good condition. Attaching the panel to the Blink is very simple. The unit work immediately. Very pleased at this point.
