It's pedal power. No battery. Pedals like a bicycle. It was a little tough for my son at first, but now he pedals it everywhere.

Can it go in reverse?

This CAT construction pedal tractor is able to go in reverse.

Does it have a hitch under the back hoe to add a trailer?

When the rear is detached, there is a pin that goes backbin and can be used as a hitch. But when the back hoe is attached there is a stabilizer arm that extends, and retracts below the rear unit.
