This is a good pruduct........
Yes this unit does vibrate bad on start up and slow speeds, however it is not the bench grinding unit itself. It is the cheap quality wire wheel and stone grinding wheel that are included/on this unit. They are not running true at all. (Wobble). I removed both wheels and ran this unit. It runs nice and smooth. So I would just order good quality wheels and you should be fine. I try to buy American when ever I can, but 99% of everything that is available is made elsewhere. GO TRUMP!

The name Craftsman's shouldn't even be on it.
The only good thing about this bench grinder is that it was already assembled. You start the grinder and you have to wait for it to get its momentum before you can start grinding. It's just underpowered. Thanks for listening

Very pleased so far but be careful setting up the tool rests
I was a little apprehensive about buying this after reading other reviews beforehand, but so far, I'm very pleased with this grinder. There's very little vibration. The light doesn't vibrate either. The variable speed works well. Sharpening some chisels went well. There was only one problem I noticed. Each tool rest has a long threaded rod for adjusting it. It was possible when setting it up initially that if the tool rest supports were moved to far back, the rod would just contact the grinding wheel. With tolerances among different grinders probably not being tight, I imagine it could be worse on others. I made sure everything was per the manual including the one washer. I corrected it by adding two more 1/16" thick washers which still leaves room for the drill bit sharpener adapter, if I need it.

Everything you could need in a bench grinder.
This is everything you would ever need in a bench grinder, save extra wheels for varying tasks. Stout, well built, and ready for action. No complaints here. Will hand it down to my kids some day.

Craftsman quality is not what it used to be
Vibration is horrible, shook all the bolts out in about 3 minutes. Very disappointed.

Love it.
Love it. Plenty of great features for the price. Mount it securely or it will “creep” around on you, lol.

Only lasted 2 years
Crafstman must be going downhill. Only lasted 2 years. Maybe used twice a month. ProConnect here on Amazon wouldn't do anything or respond to us over warranty.
